Get whisked away to a true Caribbean paradise, Catalina Island. Swim and snorkel among coral reefs along the way, and spend some free time on Catalina beach. Once you’re refreshed, board a riverboat and head up the Chavón River while enjoying your lunch. The City of Artists awaits you! Altos de Chavon was designed by an Italian and resembles a medieval village. It’s hard to believe you’re in the Caribbean as you wander along cobbled streets to the Roman amphitheatre, a stunning church, and a fountain. Then climb up to the observatory for a breathtaking view of the Chavón River—a filming location for Apocalypse Now.

Speedboats take you to a secluded location for a 15-minute swim with a pod of dolphins. Only small groups of eight are allowed in at a time in this truly unique experience. After your swim, relax on a beach hammock.

Everyone should play a "round" a little so we will reserve our tee times now. We'll look forward to playing golf on spectacular greens that rival any in the world with their beauty, challenging nature, and flexible score cards!

A day of swimming, relaxing, and exploring is all yours. Enjoy a casual cruise on a catamaran or a sailboat from Punta Cana to Saona Island, home to some of the Dominican Republic’s best beaches. Along the way to the island, keep on the lookout for marine creatures as you pass near the coral reefs and take time for a swim in a natural pool. After the refreshing swim, it's back on the boat for the rest of the journey to Saona Island. Once on the island, you’ll have time for a swim and a rejuvenating snack before heading to Palmilla Beach. This secluded, private location is the setting for a barbecue lunch. As the sun sets, it’s time to head back to Punta Cana on a sailboat. Instead of sailing, you may opt to take a speedboat either to or from Saona Island.

The private catamaran sets the perfect tone for this perfect day. Music and snacks keep you occupied as the boat makes its way to a natural pool. Once there, you’ll have time for a swim before boarding a speedboat. The speedboat jets you to the “sand banks,” a place where the waters of the Caribbean Sea meet the Atlantic Ocean. Keep an eye out for sea creatures including coral, turtles, and tropical fish. Explore a mangrove habitat and then return to the luxury catamaran for a lobster lunch. The boat makes its way along the Chavon River.

Along the drive to Santo Domingo, be sure to admire the traditional villages scattered across the picturesque landscape. Your tour guide takes you all across Santo Domingo, the first American city, founded in 1498. History is found all throughout this capital city: Enjoy panoramic views of the Columbus Lighthouse, built in 1992 on the site of Admiral Christopher Columbus’ remains. Stop at the National Palace and then take a tour of the modern section of Santo Domingo. After lunch, visit the Colonial Zone of the first city in America, founded back in 1498. This section of the city houses the residence of Diego Columbus—son of Admiral Columbus, the National Pantheon, and the oldest cathedral in America. Then, explore a local marketplace to shop for handicrafts and souvenirs before wandering along El Conde, a well-known pedestrian cobblestone street, for more shopping opportunities before heading back to Punta Cana.

It's casual, fun and perfect for an afternoon lunch. With so many restaurants in town, we'll choose the most perfect, casual restaurant where we'll take delight in the juiciest burgers, fresh sandwiches, chicken and fries!

Thai food is dazzling and exotic. We will reserve a table to enjoy tantalizing dishes that will awake our taste buds as we dine on cuisine born out of artistry and ingenuity at our favorite restaurant!

We love to spice things up! We'll pick the most fabulous Mexican food restaurant in town, reserve our table and savor South of the Border tacos, tamales and other authentic Mexican favorites all topped off with some fresh salsa. Ole!

With so many ice cream parlors in town, we'll try everything from hot fudge sundaes to soft serve ice cream and thick milkshakes. Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!

We would love to shop around for our favorite piece of art as a cherished keepsake from our once in a lifetime trip. This gift will adorn our home for many years to come!
