We will get into a 4 wheel-drive vehicle for a ride through the deep valleys of Moorea. Our honeymoon adventure begins with a drive to Paopao Valley passing pineapple plantations, crossing the Paopao Opunohu trail to the territorial property of Opunohu, we will stop at "Titiroa Marae," a temple strictly reserved for the gods as we continue to Papetoai Village to visit the first Christian church in French Polynesia, built by the London Missionary Society in 1822. How exciting!

Venture to the Belvedere Lookout for beautiful photos of Cook’s Bay and Opunohu Bay, drive through the island’s volcanic crater and visit the ancient Polynesian temple (“Marae”) of Tetiroa.

This classic magical and relaxing tour glides over multicolored exotic coral and incredible marine life. The beauty of this Glass Bottom boat cruise is not only underwater, we are also surrounded by the majestic mountains of Bora Bora. How romantic!

We will take a boat to a very secluded beach and spend the afternoon alone. How romantic is that?

With an abundance of large marine life and beautiful seascapes, we'll dive within the waters of the most beautiful lagoon in the world, or venture out into the ocean. It's on our "must do" list, to see legions of gigantic manta rays gliding gracefully within arm's reach, and schools of reef sharks parading over the magnificent corals and the sea crustaceans of a thousand colors. A sunset cruise of Moorea's lagoon is definitely a relaxing and enjoyable activity in French Polynesia. This is what Moorea is all about...enjoying the peace and tranquility of the South Pacific from the water. What a great way for us to relax and see the underwater beauty of the lagoon! Marveling at the diversity of marine life, just inches away from us! A perfect honeymoon evening!

We will take a honeymoon day trip, and journey back in time to discover the traditional Polynesian culture at the Tiki Village Theatre a picturesque village with thatched roof pandanus houses. We'll see pearl farm demonstrations, learn the techniques of painting and of dyeing pareu, go lagoon fishing, meet craft workers and see a demonstration of mat weaving and Tiki carving and maybe even get a tattoo from one of the three tattoo artists.

Visiting this picturesque village, nestled by the Lagoon of Haapiti, it depicts the "old Tahiti" with its typical thatched-roof pandanus houses. We will enjoy an evening in a Polynesian Village of yesterday, feasting on typical Polynesian dishes cooked in the traditional style while we are entertained by a trio of musicians, and the spectacular dance show that tells us of the Tahitian Legends, all performed in the natural settings of an open-air theatre!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

With so many ice cream parlors in town, we'll try everything from hot fudge sundaes to soft serve ice cream and thick milkshakes. Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!

A scooter is a fun and casual way to see the sights of our honeymoon destination. No need to fix our hair for this trip!
