The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, we will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. We will visit the hot springs of Arenal, where we will relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. This is absolutely an evening we will not want to miss.

Suzanne and I will take private surfing lessons on the beach at our resort. We'll learn how tocatch the big waves with your gift.

The Monteverde Sky Trek is a system of zip lines ranging from mountain to mountain, which together have a distance of 2.5 miles of linear cable. Your gift gives us the opportunity to fly through the jungle, having a unique experience of adventure at speeds up to 40 miles per hour with distances ranging up to 2500 feet and heights of 524 feet. In addition the tour offers 5 observation towers that exceed the cloud forest treetops providing a panoramic view.

With your wedding gift we can plan ahead and book a romantic honeymoon suite at a beachside resort. Our suite will be just steps from the beach nestled amongst the magnificent lush, fragrant tropical gardens and framed with breathtaking ocean views. We will be pampered in style and comfort, leaving us with "suite" memories!

We'll move from the beachside resort to the interior to see the volcanoes, national parks, and the jungle. Your gift will allow us to book a hotel room along the way.

With a spectacular view of the ocean, we will join the locals and feast on comida tipica (native dishes), fresh fish, and succulent steaks complemented by gallo pinto, the national dish of fried rice and black beans.

We will browse the boutique store and pick up a few local handicrafts and souvenirs as mementoes from our honeymoon.

We'll need a spa day just to ourselves! We will sit back, relax and indulge in a rejuvenating and revitalizing spa treatment or massage to help soothe our tense muscles and to help us get back in the groove.

We will experience the special indulgence of a couple's massage lying side-by-side being pampered with exotic oils that hydrate the skin, rejuvenate senses, and leave us refreshed and revitalized. We want to reserve our spa treatments early for this ultimate spa experience!
