We will feel the thrill of driving a dune buggy around the island - Grand Turk style! We start by heading down the narrow tracks that skirt the beach and rock coastline around the island to the south-east side. Take a trek to the bluff where we can capture the beautiful view of Gibb’s Cay and a few other little uninhabited islands that are visible in the Atlantic Ocean. After catching a quick look of the Capital we will make our way to North Wells, where if we are lucky we might catch a glimpse of the famous endangered “Pink Flamingo’s” that can be seen foraging through the silted bottom of the Salina ponds in search of brine shrimp and other crustaceans indigenous to the natural wild life, not to mention passing the occasional indigenous wild horses who roam free on the island.

A unique, multi-eco experience awaits us in St. Thomas' Mangrove Wildlife Refuge & Marine Sanctuary. We will kayak, snorkel, and hike through a 16-acre uninhabited island with breathtaking views. We'll make three stops for informative explanations of the area’s ecology and wildlife along with amusing local folklore. We'll keep our eyes open for iguanas, egrets, herons, pelicans, and frigates. Then, we will leave our kayak at a scenic beach for an invigorating hike to Red Point cliffs, tidal pools and a blowhole. Finally, we will don our masks and plunge into the fascinating underwater kingdom. We'll see starfish, conchs, stingrays, and puffer fish as we explore a beautiful coral fringed mangrove nursery.

The natural beauty of St. Maarten is right at our feet on this hike along the coast. We will begin our hike along the single track trails of the rugged Eastern coastline’s natural rock formations. Then we will enjoy spectacular views of the neighboring islands of St. Barts, the deserted Isle de Fourche and Pelican Rock. Finally, we walk to the end of the beach where we can relax at the popular Boardroom Jazz Restaurant with a complimentary beverage.

Aboard our Carnival honeymoon cruise ship, we’ll indulge in classical cocktails, tropical concoctions or cold refreshing beer while relaxing by the pool in the wonderful sun. Cheers!
