We will spend the afternoon exploring Albert Khan's Japanese gardens in the hear of Paris.

As art lovers, we'll be delighted by this wonderful tour, which includes a guided tour of the village where Van Gogh lived and painted, where Monet spent much of his life. We will be captivated by the beautiful gardens that inspired the greatest painters of all time!

Le Batofar, an Irish floating lighthouse that has a seething concert hall, restaurant, terrace overlooking the water, and a "beach" in summer on the quayside. The music extends from reggae and heavy metal, to afrobeat and breakcore.

We'll have a drink or two on you at the local bar or at our favorite saloon. Cheers!

We will spend the evening at one of Paris' newest music scenes: Le Pompon, a converted synagogue. There is a buzzing bar on the ground floor, while indie bands or electro-pop DJs play in a super-insulated speakeasy basement – it's like entering a bank vault – to avoid noise complaints by the neighbours.

Straight out of Funny Face, we'll hear some of the best jazz in the world and watch the 20-somethings dance the night away.

We can't go to Paris without seeing this masterpiece of gothic architecture, the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, imagined by Bishop Maurice de Sully built between the 12th and the 14th centuries (1163-1345).

We will see Rembrandt’s “Night watch”, several paintings by Vermeer, van Dyck and Jan Steen, and the museum has truly exceptional collection of Asian art, rich accumulation of the antique objects of the material Dutch culture, vast collection of prints, drawings and the classic photography.

We will spend a day at one of the world's best art museums.

We will spend a few days in Amsterdam, taking in the museums. Our first stop will be the Van Gough Museum with the largest collection of Van Gough painings in the world.

We will spend our first week in Paris at the Hôtel Mansart in a spacious room decorated with oil paintings and antique Parisian furniture.

What better way to enhance our fine dining experience than with our chosen bottle of exceptional wine.Cheers!

We will enjoy Japanese-French fusion pastries created by Chef Sadaharu Aoki.

It's casual, fun and perfect for an afternoon lunch. With so many restaurants in town, we'll choose the most perfect, casual restaurant where we'll take delight in the juiciest burgers, fresh sandwiches, chicken and fries!

Foodies unite! One of Paris' last non-corporate brasseries, described as "the discreet charm of the bourgeoisie," who can say no to that?

We’ll love a night just to ourselves! Indulging in the romantic ambiance, we’ll enjoy tantalizing cuisine at our favorite restaurant and make a toast to our lives together!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

With so many ice cream parlors in town, we'll try everything from hot fudge sundaes to soft serve ice cream and thick milkshakes. Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!

We will fly from Huntsville to Paris on April 29, 2012, and return on May 13, 2012.

We'll need a spa day just to ourselves! We will sit back, relax and indulge in a rejuvenating and revitalizing spa treatment or massage to help soothe our tense muscles and to help us get back in the groove.

As aspiring oenophiles, or people who just like wine, we'll spend a day at our desired winery enjoying the entertaining and knowledgeable explanation of the winemaking process, followed by a tasting of some of the finest wines!
