The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, we will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. We will visit the hot springs of Arenal, where we will relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. This is absolutely an evening we will not want to miss.

We will be honeymooning in Costa Rica where there are over a hundred species of bats! So why not try getting up close and personal with these flying mammals? Bat netting will definitely be one experience we can never do at home!

We will travel through a unique inland waterway learning about the important ecosystems in the world while enjoying the enchanting mangrove estuary, observing whiteface capuchin monkeys and an array of colorful jeweled birds. Fresh tropical fruits will be served on our kayaking adventure, after we have worked up a sweat!

Our experienced captain will take us out into the Pacific Ocean near Cano Island to crystal blue waters teaming with sea life. Here Orcas, pilot, humpback and other whales are sighted almost daily. Together we will have the thrill of meeting our dolphins face-to-face, sharing a soft touch, and viewing their grace and beauty. We'll make sure to take home a photo for a perfect memory of our honeymoon adventure.

A morning stroll never hurt anyone! We will wake up at the break of dawn to witness tropical birds such as toucans, parrots, oropendolas, colorful tanagers and parakeets. Now, we are the early birds!

With your wedding gift, we will take a joyride early in the afternoon to Kekoldi Indian Reservation and visit the Green Iguana Project. The green iguana was an endangered species so they put them in captivity to help them live and reproduce. We will get to see an interesting process of their reproduction and growth.

With your thoughtful wedding gift, we'll take a night walk in the forest, exploring it with a night vision device coming across night creatures such as scorpions, katydids, spiders, snakes, birds, opossums and kinkajous!

We can't wait to visit this spectacular amphibian and reptile zoo learning about Costa Rica's wildlife, observing snakes, poison snakes, reptiles, lizards, iguanas, amphibians and turtles. A honeymoon outing we will never forget!

We can't wait to take a leisurely cruise down Arenal Lake with the amazing view of Arenal Volcano, the sunset as our beautiful backdrop adding to our romantic ambience and the magnificent wildlife, such as flycatchers, kingfishers, anninga, monkeys, coatis and sloth. The perfect way to explore the natural beauty of Costa Rica on our honeymoon!

With your wedding gift we can reserve a romantic honeymoon suite. Our suite will be just steps from the beach nestled amongst the magnificent lush, fragrant tropical gardens and framed with breathtaking ocean views. We will be pampered in style and comfort, leaving us with "suite" memories!
