After short shuttle ride, we'll reach Rome on board private, air-conditioned train that takes us to St. Peter's Station, 730 yds from Vatican City. Once on board, escort provides Rome map & gives tips on best way to enjoy our time in Rome. After approx 90 minute ride, we will arrive in Rome & spend day on our own.

Upon arriving in Naples we'll drive south towards Mount Vesuvius. Board a special 4x4 coach that will drive through the National Park of Mt. Vesuvius. At approx. 3,000 feet, we'll begin our trek on foot over narrow paths that zigzag up the mountain another 1,000 feet. Once on the rim of the crater walls, skirt the edge with a guide while enjoying this natural phenomenon and the views. Descend along the narrow paths to the parking lot and proceed to a Winery. Visit their vineyards and learn how the famous Wine Lacryma Christi is produced. Taste their wines and distillers before going back to the ship.

Once our coach arrives at the San Rossore National Reserve, we'll board a motorboat for a narrated boat ride along the Arno River, which allows us to see the principal sights of Pisa’s historical centre while our guide gives commentaries on the monuments and the city's history. During our cruise, we'll enjoy an ice cream. At the boat ride’s conclusion, we will be transferred by trolley to the main square of Pisa, the Field of Miracles. After the visit, we will have approximately 45 minutes of free time for shopping!

We'll go to both landmarks of the Principality of Monaco, Old Monaco and Monte Carlo. In Monaco (the Rock) we'll enjoy a guided walking tour of the old town and some free time to explore its colorful arched streets. In Montecarlo we'll see the outside of the world famous Grand Casino and get free time to explore the area on our own. The drive from Cannes is made via Nice and the very scenic Lower Corniche road along the coast.

During the visit of the Old Port, we will have a stop at the hill and visit Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica. The tour will take us via the Ginest pass to the charming summer resort Cassis, where we will have time to enjoy a nice lunch and stroll around the harbour. The last stop will be in Sanary a small animated port.

While we're traveling through Spain, France and Italy we'll definitely need some spending money. Your gift will let us eat, drink and tour our way through the Mediterranean.
