We can't go to Paris without seeing this masterpiece of gothic architecture, the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, imagined by Bishop Maurice de Sully built between the 12th and the 14th centuries (1163-1345).

With your generous gift we'll head out to Versailles to explore the Palace of Versailles, Estate of Marie-Antoinette and beautifully-manicured gardens.

We'll explore two wineries with Mike Riijken, recommended by Rick Steves, and learn everything there is to learn about French wine!

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order our choice of eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

It's casual, fun and perfect for an afternoon lunch. With so many cafes and restaurants throughout our travels, we'll choose the most perfect, casual spot where we'll take delight in the wonderful food, French table wine and people watching!

The catch of the day awaits us! As seafood lovers it will be hard to choose from the different types of seafood restaurants and the variety of fresh fish, all complemented by delectable side dishes, fresh vegetables, and an incredible selection of wines. A delicious treat!

A table will be reserved for us at our favorite restaurant. We can choose from fresh fruits, freshly baked pastries, breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, French toast, hash browns, juice and coffee. Give us the works we need our energy on our getaway.

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner for our first night in Paris. We'll choose an excellent restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine, impeccable service and hopefully a wonderful view!

Sadly, at some point, we'll need to end our incredible honeymoon and return home. With such an early departure, we'll be hopping into a taxi to get to the airport. Your gift will allow us to start our trip back without worrying about more than making sure our suitcases are stuffed with the memories of a lifetime.

It won't be like driving at home. Exploring on our honeymoon will be an adventure. We'll spend a day in Vaison-la-Romaine at a cooking class, complete with a day at the market, another in the Côtes du Rhône, driving to a selection of French vineyards, and a third zipping through the French countryside to the port city of Marseille.

Any help to get to and from our destinations and day trips would be a wonderful gift. We will be thanking you long after we depart or arrive.

As aspiring oenophiles, or people who just like wine, we'll spend a day at our desired winery enjoying the entertaining and knowledgeable explanation of the winemaking process, followed by a tasting of some of the finest wines!
