We will start our evening by discovering the Plaka and Thession/Psirri areas. Then we'll visit Haritos Street near Kolonaki to bar hop and rub shoulders with Athens sophisticated arty set. We won't plan on dining until after 10 pm just like the locals, and then if we have any energy left we'll dance at one of the many hotspots. What a fun evening!

Beware! This honeymoon walking tour takes place on cobbled streets with a ghost as our guide. There will be, no doubt, a few strange incidents and ghastly appearances. We will take this tour at our own risk, it is not for the faint hearted!

We will be taking an organized guided tour of most of Athens; making sure to see important sites like the Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum!

We will be going on a full day tour of Delphi, which is a charming little village. We will explore it's spectacular scenery and dramatic remains!

We will bring a picnic for lunch and spend the day lying in the soft sand and playing in the warm water for hours. A relaxing day that will be much needed after the wedding craziness!

We will be observing the remarkable art and architecture within the Knossos Palace and learning the history of Crete at the Heraklion Museum. Learning is fun!

We will take a ferry ride to the gorgeous island of Santorini for an overnight stay. We will end the day by watching the sunset together. The sunsets there are supposed to be the best in the world!

We will enjoy going sea kayaking in the clear blue water along the alluring coast and cliffs. Sightseeing from the water will be romantic and refreshing!

We will explore one of the most famous caves in Greece, Dikteon. The supposed birth place of Zeus is over 2200 sq meters and features both stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Exciting!

We will be staying three nights in a beautiful four star hotel in Athens. They will serve us tasty breakfast every morning like a traditional European hotel. Scrumptious!

We will share a champagne toast on the first night of our honeymoon; celebrating our marriage and the first of ten nights in this glorious foreign country!

We will satisfy our sweet tooth by trying some of Greek's traditional desserts like Baklava and Finikia. Yum!

As most people know we share a love for pizza! So we plan to devour a delicious traditional greek pizza for lunch or dinner one day. Mmmm!

After touring the island of Crete our feet will be tired and our bellies will be empty! We will end the evening with a delightful dinner at a local traditional restaurant.

We would love to shop around for our favorite piece of art as a cherished keepsake from our once in a lifetime trip. This gift will adorn our home for many years to come!

On August 28th we will depart from Boston, quickly stop over in Canada, and then safely land in Athens Greece on August 29th. On September 1st we will be jet setting from Athens to Crete for the remainder of our honeymoon. On September 8th we pack our bags and fly back home to see our friends and family!

We will experience the special indulgence of a couple's massage lying side-by-side being pampered with exotic oils that hydrate the skin, rejuvenate senses, and leave us refreshed and revitalized. Oooh lala!
