Noumea, New Caledonia Board your luxury, high speed ferry for an approximately 45 minute ride to Amedee Lighthouse Island, where paradise is waiting for you. Upon arrival, you can relax on the beautiful white sand beach or join in the different activities Amedee has to offer. Climb the 241 steps of the lighthouse for a marvellous view over the lagoon. Stroll around the island, swim and snorkel among the fish which is always a wonderful experience as Amedee is a marine reserve. Take a ride on the glass-bottom boat, which is a great way to learn about marine life and also enjoy an approximate 30 minute trip to the barrier reef to discover turtles and rays. For the kids, there is a playground. Enjoy a tropical style buffet lunch under shady trees overlooking the lagoon. To complete your meal, an island dance show will be performed by your hostesses. After lunch, try your hand at pareo-tying and lessons will be given in climbing coconut palm-trees. Enjoy a coffee or tea under the shade before the return cruise back to your ship.
