We'll have a drink or two on you throughout our travels. We will need to buy a lot bottled water during the two weeks that we are in Thailand so your gift of a drink on you means that we will be hydrated as well as every now and then enjoying an adult beverage. After two days of traveling to Thailand, Autumn and Daveed will be jet lagged and in need of good rest before they start their adventures. Siam Heritage is a highly recommended hotel in Bangkok. Two nights of Rest and Relaxation in air-conditioned rooms (Thailand is one of the hottest cities in the world) will do their bodies good!

According to research, the beach bungalow huts along the Southern islands in Thailand are perfect places to stay. Your gift allows us to book a night's stay in these bungalows. If we find an area we really like, we will stay a few nights longer! We will be backpacking the Southern islands for about 9 days, so every gift counts and is appreciated!!

Your gift of a night stay at Green Papaya Resort allows us the chance to spend a night in romantic paradise. We will be traveling south to the islands after a week of trekking and hiking in the mountains in Northern Thailand. Upon our arrival on the island, your gift will give us the chance to rest and relax in a private room with our own private pool and a very short walk to the ocean. The resort promises white sand and incomparable views. This gift will allow us to feel spoiled in a luxury room before heading back out with our backpacks towards the more rugged spots.

It is going to take us nearly two days to get from Salt Lake to Thailand. We will have two connections each way and will need to eat. Your gift of providing food during our travels will help keep us from getting too grumpy during the lengthy travel time!

Thai food is dazzling and exotic. We will reserve a table to enjoy tantalizing dishes that will awake our taste buds as we dine on cuisine born out of artistry and ingenuity at our favorite restaurant!

We will need to take a ferry and a bus to the islands and back to Bangkok to return back to Utah. Your gift of the bus/boat fare helps us travel in the VIP section of the bus and boat, where we will be able to keep our backpacks secure! This is a great gift and helps us get to our destination!

Help us avoid the 9-hour train ride to Northern Thailand at the beginning of our trip so that we can enjoy our time exploring the mountains in Chiang Mai. Your gift of a flight to Chiang Mai helps us get to Northern Thailand and back in a little over an hour instead of a full-day's travel!

Traveling by train is said to be one of the best ways to get around in Thailand. We will be traveling all over Thailand in the time that we have there. Your gift of train fare helps us get to our destinations and is very much appreciated!!

With the luxury of the ocean and the beauty of the rainforest comes the nuisance of mesquitos. Autumn is allergic to them so help her and Daveed out by giving the gift of insect repellant to use during those jungle hikes and elephant rides!
