We will start off with a crisp start in the morning, stopping for breakfast in the city of Cervantes where we will admire the antiques collected for many years. The real tour starts at Angostura, hydroelectric plant biking through sugar and coffee plantations, where the route is flat with mountain segments of dense jungle and up hill slopes. Continuing to La Posa where we will have the opportunity to dive in its crystal clear waters and enjoy its panoramic views, while enjoying a lovely lunch and the natural beauty surrounding us!

On our honeymoon we would love to hike through trails of the rainforest to Cahuita, visiting Puerto Vargas along the way. Our journey will come to a brief stop where we will have a romantic picnic lunch by the crystal clear Caribbean waters and maybe take a cool refreshing dip. Continuing on the trail we will see howler monkeys, the green ibis and the mighty rufous kingfisher above in the treetops! So many sights to take in but we will do it all thanks to you!

This Canopy Tour will be an amazing, unforgettable experience! We'll fly through the tree tops of the Monteverde Could Forest on steel cables. We'll experience the various levels of the canopy as we glide and swing from tree to tree. Watch out Tarzan!

A morning stroll never hurt anyone! We will wake up at the break of dawn to witness tropical birds such as toucans, parrots, oropendolas, colorful tanagers and parakeets. Now, we are the early birds!

We'll take an adventurous ride up in the mountains and hike through the amazing rainforest. We'll enjoy dazzling rivers and cool off under a spectacular waterfall.

We will explore the Rio Pejibaye on kayaks. The Pejibaye is a gentle class II/III river, perfect for learning. We will practice moving-water maneuvering skills while keeping our eyes open for glimpses of Costa Rica's many beautiful birds and butterflies.

We will experience a full explosion of excitement and thrill while rafting down the Pascua and Pacuare River, witnessing the natural beauty of Costa Rica's flora and fauna, along with our own guide instructing us how to manage ourselves with the strong currents of the river! Our happy honeymoon memories will be drenched!

Off the shores of Cahuita National Park, we sail to where we will discover an underwater world like no other as we snorkel among the magnificent corals, sea turtles, lobsters many brilliantly colored reef fish with high hopes in spotting fun-loving dolphins and swimming with them, and maybe even humpback whales!

With a spectacular view of the ocean, we will join the locals and feast on comida tipica (native dishes), fresh fish, and succulent steaks complemented by gallo pinto, the national dish of fried rice and black beans.

Get us on the flight heading to Costa Rica at 8:30pm on the day of our wedding... and back to reality if we ever so choose :)

A scooter is a fun and casual way to see the sights of our honeymoon destination. No need to fix our hair for this trip!
