Accommodations

North to the Future

North to the Future

Patrick and Sarah land in Anchorage close to 12:30am on Tuesday. Good news is the sun will have just set; and the bars stay open to 4am! (Maybe not such good news). Their first night they will be staying at Anchorage Downtown Hotel; a "Green" Boutique hotel just blocks from the downtown strip.

$50.00 each
1 of 4 available.
The Hotel Alyeska

The Hotel Alyeska

Nestled between Anchorage and Homer is The Hotel Alyeska. Sarah and Patrick will spend two luxurious nights in a bed here before continuing on to Homer for a camping expedition. This is also where half of their stellar adventures will launch from.

$50.00 each
11 of 13 available.
Camping on The Spit

Camping on The Spit

Homer, Alaska is known as "the Cosmic Hamlet by the Sea", and the 4.5-mile piece of land jutting out into Kachemak Bay in Homer is known as The Spit; or "End of the Road." And that's where Patrick and Sarah will camp for two nights in the North. 53% of the 224 acre town of Homer is underwater due to the 1964 Good Friday Earthquake. Homer, AK is an epic example of how local, independent, and sustainable commerce flourishes.  No need to purchase this, the couple included this to give the complete itinerary.

$10.00 each
1 of 1 available.
Breeze Inn

Breeze Inn

After two days of camping on The Spit, and for their last night in Alaska, Patrick and Sarah will be spending the evening at the Breeze Inn in Seward to prepare for their Whale/Glacier boat tour the following day.

$50.00 each

Dining

Sakura Asian Bistro

Sakura Asian Bistro

At The Hotel Alyeska, the Sakura Asian Bistro caught Pat's attention pretty quickly. This will be their 'romantic dinner in.'
