Ok, Ok, I know, this is a totally cheesy line from a totally cheesy movie. But we do happen to have a casino right across from our hotel. If ever there was a time for feeling lucky, being on our honey moon would have to be it!

No picture of Ostriches so I guess the Flamingos will have to do! Damon and I will get a chance to get close and personal (but not too personal!) with these huge historic birds! At the Aruba Ostrich Farm we can meet these unique birds and learn more about their behavior, natural instincts and more. Aruba's rugged landscape provides perfect living conditions for these giant birds. We will get to see and touch, maybe even stand on one of their enormous eggs. And we hear they love to be hand fed!

We will step into a tropical garden teeming with butterflies from around the globe and meet some of the world's most colorful and unusual creatures.

Ok so Tina almost killed herself when trying surfing in Costa Rica and Damon didn't fare much better. And Aruba is known more for their windsurfing than regular surfing. But we would like to give it another go (whether it's windsuring or just surfing) and plan on leaving the water with a smile on our face regardless of how we do! (sorry! couldn't find a picture of surfing so this will have to do!)

Had a blast doing this in Cabo and we would love to do it again. It will fulfill the adrenaline requirement for our honeymoon. That way we don't feel like complete lazy butts during our honeymoon.

There is nothing like a relaxing horseback ride taking in the beautiful scenery on our honeymoon. We will tour through through Aruba's countryside to the Natural Pool. And take in spectacular views of the island from atop the Arikok hills.

We look forward to putting our paddling skills to the test while seeing the coast from a different vantage points while kayaking alongside beautiful mangrove forests and mysterious hidden caves

One of the most unforgettable experiences while in Aruba is scuba diving. Aruba is famous for the spectacular shipwrecks including the World War II 400 ft Antilla wreck-the largest wreck in the Carribean. We will also be able to see a fabulous array of corals and fish, seahorses and stingrays.

In addition to scuba diving, it would be great to due a more leisurely day of water activies like snorkeling. This is one more way that we can appreciate the best view possible of hundreds of tropical fish which are found in Aruba.

Ok so Tina already has the perfect tan! ha! ha! But for Damon, that fair skin of his could be prone to a sunburn. Especially since Aruba's refreshing wind may fool us into believing it's not so hot. But the sun is still strong so we will need lots of sunscreen to help soothe and protect our skin.

What better way to enhance our fine dining experience than with a bottle (or two or three or five for that matter) of exceptional wine? Cheers!

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

We will choose from one of the many casual restaurants set on the beach. Then kick back and enjoy a local dish, the fun atmosphere, a refreshing cool drink, and great views.

We could definitely use this cold refreshing treat during our week in Aruba. Remember, calories don't count when your on vacation!

We'll have a drink or two (or five, we like to follow the same philosophy as the wine) on you. Cheers! If you don't know this already Tina is all about the happy hours (even though she doesn't actually ever get off in time to enjoy them) and even has her own Happy Hour Guide to Tacoma if anyone is interested. It's on an Excel file with website links and everything. Sounds like somebody has too much time on their hands!

This camera will allow us to capture even the most elusive marine life. This is the perfect gift for us - the warm water tropical travelers.

What a great wedding gift! We'll travel in style with the top down on our convertible, enjoying the warm island breezes blowing gently on our faces. Although Aruba at only 19.6 miles long and 6 miles wide at it's widest point for a total of 77 square miles is by no means a large island. It is still not exactly walking distance to see all the sights so the car rental will be greatly appreciated.

Any help to get to and from our honeymoon destination is a wonderful wedding gift. We will be thanking you long after take off. And we literally mean "long" after takeoff. We have a 12+ hour flight so we will be sure at least 11.5 hrs of the flight (We only need about 30 minutes of sleep anyways) will be dedicated to thinking of kind and positive thoughts about you and sending you good karma as well! After all, we're just trying to be better people.

Alas, there are no Vespa's to be found on the island. However, a moped is a fun and casual way to see the sights of our honeymoon destination when staying closer to town. No need to fix our hair for this trip!

We'll toast to our new life together as we uncork the effervescence of a bottle of champagne. Cheers!

We definitely need nice looking toes for all those flip-flops and sandals we will be wearing on our honeymoon. Plus, Tina needs to be forced into breaking the habit of biting her nails so hopefully the manicure will do the trick!
