Exploring Anchorage we’ll see amazing wildlife, learning about these spectacular creatures at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center then venture along the scenic highway to the Museum of History and Art at the Rasmuson Center. We’ll experience authentic Alaskan culture and explore the museum to view its artifacts and perhaps browse the gift shop!

We’ll visit the Alaskan Native Heritage Museum where we’ll see demonstrations and performances in Native settings and see historic mementos of Captain Cook and the beautiful parks. As our tour nears its end, we’ll journey back into time in the exhibit illustrating the history of the state and see the art collection in the beautiful skylight galleries!

On this excursion, we’ll saddle up our horses and set out into Skagway’s rustic backcountry! Riding through dense winding trails of the Valley of Dyea and lush ‘second-growth forests’ past Slide Cemetery our guide will tell us stories about the area’s history. After our horseback riding adventure comes to an end, we’ll enjoy refreshing drinks and smoked salmon at the hitching posts!

On our Carnival honeymoon in Skagway, we’ll retrace the steps of the Gold Rush Stampeeders! We’ll hear about the history of the area while seeing its natural settings and hiking through the northern rainforest to the flowing Taiya River. As our adventurous tour comes to an end, we’ll have a delectable riverside snack before heading back to our ship!

We’ll enjoy this adventurous excursion driving through Ketchikan in a fully loaded Hummer! Riding in luxury, we’ll cruise through town, climb mountainsides and make stops in Saxman Native Village, Herring Cove witnessing its wildlife, Tongass National Forest and Totem Bright State Park where we’ll do a little off-roading taking us up to Slide Mountain for enchanting views!

Aboard a catamaran, we’ll explore Stephen’s Passage, a feeding ground for humpback whales! We’ll have plenty of photo opportunities seeing these gentle giants up close, witnessing their grace and beauty, hearing them sing and enjoying their friendly behavior. On the way back, we’ll relax in Juneau’s illuminating evening glow while enjoying appetizers, beverages, beer and wine.

In Ketchikan, we’ll explore the underwater world of Alaska! Aboard the Nautilus V, we’ll journey below the ocean witnessing its beauty boasting giant sunflower stars, shiner perch, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, crab, eel grass and bull kelp. While hearing stories and legends of the area, we’ll admire majestic views of the surrounding islands, eagle’s nests, rustic waterfront cabins and snow caves on land!

Soaring above the magnificent glaciers of Skagway we’ll get a bird’s eye view of jagged peaks over the Chilkat Glacier, cascading waterfalls surrounding the Ferebee Glacier and the marvelous ‘river of ice’ known as the Meade Glacier. At our landing site, we’ll have time to explore around one of the glaciers with our guide explaining the importance of these giant structures!

On this incredible excursion, we’ll savor the tastes of Juneau, Alaska! At the Gold Creek Salmon Bake, we’ll be greeted with the aromas of salmon grilling over an open alderwood fire. We’ll enjoy Cheechako barbequed chicken and ribs, Chilkoot baked beans, Tongass wild rice pilaf, crisp salads, corn bread and lemonade dining beside Salmon Creek while being entertained by local music. After our dinner, we’ll warm up next to a cozy open fire, toast marshmallows and admire the beautiful Salmon Creek waterfall!

Together we’ll discover southeast Alaska soaring through the sky aboard a helicopter! Flying above the glacier, we’ll get a bird’s eye view of this marvelous wonder seeing temperate rainforests and granite peaks surrounded by Juneau’s ice field. After we land on the glacier, we’ll take a walking tour taking in our surroundings and learning about the important glacier environments of Juneau!

On our Carnival honeymoon, we’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of the Gold Rush town of Skagway! At Henry Rhubarb King Clark Farm we’ll listen to the tales of the gold rush town while viewing delphiniums, nasturtiums and begonias, see the replica White Pass “G” scale model railway. Our next stop is the Skagway Gold Rush Cemetery where we’ll hear tales of the town!

We’ll hike through winding trails of a beautiful ‘old-growth forest’ and witness its natural settings while enjoying a light snack in Ketchikan. After we reach Orca Beach, we’ll board a boat and cruise through the sparkling waters keeping an eye out for whales, Stellar sea lions, harbor seals, porpoises and seabirds!

Cruising through Anchorage’s cool blue waters aboard the MV Ptarmigan, we’ll see breathtaking views of the icebergs decorating Portage Lake and see the carving of an iceberg from a glacier!

In Vancouver, our motor coach will take us through Stanley Park and across the Lion’s Gate Bridge to Grouse Mountain where we’ll glide up the “Super Skyride” to the top of the mountain. Here we’ll take in breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery below with magnificent photo opportunities!

Cruising through Sitka’s crystalline waters, we’ll take in our surroundings while snacking lightly and enjoying cold beverages. Before heading back downtown for souvenir shopping, we may see friendly sea lions, playful porpoises, harbor seals, brown nears, deer and bald eagles!

Exploring the waters of Sitka Sound will leave us with amazing memories! Aboard a semi-submersible boat, we’ll see kelp forests, eelgrass, colorful fish, crabs, urchins, jellyfish, anemones and starfish while learning about theses creatures and their natural habitats!

Together, we’ll explore Silver Bay! Cruising through Sitka’s sparkling blue waters to the Medvejie Salmon Hatchery, we’ll see how salmon eggs are collected, fertilized and incubated then get a close up of the Liberty Prospect Gold Mine. We’ll see the beach where Tlingit warriors fought a valiant-but-futile battle against a Russian warship and view the spires of St. Michael’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral!

With the help of our sommelier on board, we’ll select a bottle of fine wine from the extensive wine list. Cheers to you!
