The charm of the landscapes, the beauty of its monuments and villas intrigued many artists who came here in search of inspiration. There is so much to visit in this town beyond the fantastic scenery of the Amalfi coast!

Vietri is called the "first Pearl" of the Amalfi Coast and the city of ceramics. The masterpieces of this art can be seen in the Ceramics Museum of Villa Guariglia in Raito or Cargaleiro Museum. We'll just stroll through the narrow streets of the old town to realize that the art pottery is everywhere: the walls of the houses are beautiful inlaid tiles and the Church of St. John the Baptist, which dominates the city and is surmounted by a fabulous majolica dome . To bring home a piece of traditional craftsmanship made in Vietri, we just have to choose among the many shops!

The enchanting Amalfi Coast provides some of the very best snorkeling locations and conditions possible. Crystalline visibility, warm sea, calm currents and no dangerous sea life of any kind! We look forward to glistening emerald and azure-blue Mediterranean sea.

Sunlight passing through an underwater cavity and shinning through the sea water creates a blue brilliant reflection that illuminates the cavern. We can't miss this incredible view of nature!

We will experience Capri's miniscule beaches between rocks from where to dive into the sparkling, crystal clear sea. They keep their access quite exclusive but don't want to miss the experience.

Villa San Michele in Capri is a magical place that must be experienced. The Villa was the dream home of the Swedish physician, Axel Munthe, and it is undoubtedly a living example of the dream that became reality. The architecture is there to emphasize the magnificence of the landscape. As a testament to its beauty in 2012 Villa San Michele was selected as one of the most beautiful parks of Italy.

You haven't seen Capri until you've seen it from the sea, and discovered all of the island's magical sea caves and secluded beaches! We’ll get ready to experience the thrill of sailing around the Bay of Naples and along the Amalfi Coast aboard a traditional wooden sailing boat.

A romantic dinner on board of the sailing boat while watching the sun go down behind the Faraglioni rocks....Unforgettable!

One of Naples crown jewels, the San Carlo Theater is the Oldest Opera House in Europe. Built 41 years before La Scala in Milan, its design was the model which many other Opera Houses would follow. We are so excited to admire its sumptuous blue upholstery and gold decor while we watch a tribute to the genius of Pina Bausch, the German choreographer extraordinary "mother" of teatro-danza.

Where would we really like to seat? As close to the stage as possible...mainly because Patrizia can't really see well from far and when it comes to danza, she likes to look into the details!

This is the land known for having given pizza to the whole world, however pizza seldom is as delicious as it is in Naples and its surroundings. We want to get in on the Neapolitan secret to making delicious pizza by taking a pizza cooking lesson in Naples from an original Neapolitan pizzaiuolo who belongs to the Associazione di Pizzaiouli Napoletani

We always wanted to go to Pompeii and we won't miss the chance this time at the very end of our romantic trip. We will have a private tour guide who will describe to us the history of Pompeii and the life of the people who lived there!

We’ll ride up Mt Vesuvius along an ancient trail through a panoramic and breathtaking road which looks over to Pompeii dominating the view upon the Gulf of Naples. The bus will lead us up to a height of 1000 metres, from where we’ll walk up to the crater. No better way to breath in nature, history and beauty all at the same time.

We chose for our first night in Ischia the best Hotel and Spa on the Island. Reviews say this is a place to go at least once in a lifetime! With all the relaxing treatments and massages...we hope to be charged and go walk around beatiful Ischia!!

Before we leave Ischia we chose to spend one night at the hotel located in the Aragonese Castle, the prominent spotlight on the Ischia skyline! The Hotel in its simplicity will remind us of the atmosphere of an ancient convent, a place rich in history with spectacular views to the Island and the sea.

Even though we have already visited Naples for one day we felt we were missing on many things. On the way back from Ischia we would like to take the opportunity to explore this beautiful city. Its reputation does not do justice to its history and beatiful city center

The Mt. Vesuvio is what identifies Naples in the world. Even though we think there is a lot more to the city (not just the best pizzas in the world), we know we have the chance to wake up in the morning and admire the gigantic monster, for now silent in its beauty!

On our way back we will stop in Pompei for our excursions to the old city and Mt. Vesuvio. We will end our romantic journey here before taking our train back home.

Another food wonder that Italy gave the world, ice cream or gelato, it is something not to miss in the hot Italian summer. Usually made with fresh fruit, you can almost taste a piece of fruit coming off the gelato because it is so natural.....we will not miss the opportunity to have watermelon or fruit gelato after a day in the beach

This will be the night after the celebration and would like to spend it in style by ourselves! Indulging in the romantic ambiance, we’ll enjoy tantalizing cuisine at La Terrazza, to enjoy an evening of house lights illuminating the hills of Positano and make a toast to our lives together!

It's casual, fun and perfect for an afternoon lunch. We will go have lunch with a fantastic view to the sea and the cliffs of Capri while having lunch at Lido del Faro

The catch of the day awaits us! As seafood lovers it will be hard to find a better place to find typical cuisine from the island of Capri including delicious fresh seafood fished on that same day...we'll tell you about it

We chose from a local restaurant in Positano in front of La Marina Grande, the square in front of the beach to have a delicious variety of fresh fish and reserve the perfect table and watch the sun go down on the Thyrrenian sea. We will tantalize our taste buds with homemade the pasta, fresh Seafood, select an Italian vino and enjoy the best dessert ever, ending with a macchiato or affogato and spending a very romantic night under the starts in Positano....... Now that's amore!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner at Ristorante Alberto in Ischia. A quiet and secludd restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine that stands with a view to the bay of Napoli!!

Our way to the Amalfi coast is not not long at all and we love that! A piece of paradise close by..no plane and no jet lag! We reserve that for our way back to New York!

We decided not to rent a car on our way to Amalfi because we don't want to waste our time in getting lost and getting stressed along the bendy coastal roads at night!

Felipe's dream of living the years of the Italian Dolce Vita cannot be more fulfilled than by driving an Alfa Romeo Giulietta convertible on the Amalfi Coast......Spettacolare!!!

We'll rely on the experts to move through the narrow streets of the hills between the two cities. We instead will be on the back of the car enjoying the "Panorama"!

We will board in Positano. Surely we will be sad of leaving the amazing coast but so excited to touch the ground of the most iconic Italian Island!

Renting a scooter is the best (and possibly the only) alternative to public transportation! We are very excited to discover the island on two wheels and write our own motorcycle diary of Capri.

There is no Public transportation between Capri and Ischia, so we will have to embark on a private boat for our 1 and half hour sea trip to Ischia! Our honeymoon will be half way through but still so much to do and discover....

Everyone Must See Naples from the sea, and Ischia right in front will give us this opportunity! Admiring the beautiful city with its hills, the castle and the imposing vulcano is a good start before delving into the narrow streets and historic centre of the city.

The power of the Vesuvio brought Pompeii to its end, but didn't manage to do it completely, it left some of it underwater. Pozzuoli near Napoli is one of the few places in the world with an "under water archeological museum" that has these ruins of Pompeii under water. We will take a diving course necessary to dive and see the ruins of Pompeii under water.

We'll toast to our lives together as we uncork the effervescence of a bottle of champagne. Cheers!
