On our honeymoon we will enjoy exciting rounds of golf at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. This 18-hole, par 71 golf course is nestled between the sandy beaches of the Pacific coast and lush tropical gardens boasting rolling fairways and stunning greens. We will sit back and enjoy a scenic ride from Guanacaste to Arenal, where we will begin our adventure passing through dry forest into a rain forest. A short walk will introduce us to the interactions of the rain forest. After stopping for a scrumptious lunch, we will be escorted to the thundering Arenal Volcano (one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas with a breathtaking view). After that, we will hike to a beautiful mineral pool for soaking and relaxation. Finally, we will enjoy a delicious dinner while waiting for the volcano's night show.

Costa Rica is known for its biodiversity and coffee. That's why two of Costa Rica's most popular destinations are The Butterfly Farm and The Coffee Tour of Cafe Britt. We will get to visit Alajuela where an enclosed tropical garden is filled with hundreds of butterflies, learning their natural history. Our journey continues onto Cafe Britt in Heredia where we will take the Coffee Tour, learning about the history of the coffee bean. We will even get a sample and the opportunity to purchase the strong stuff at factory price!

A day of adventure awaits at the Vida Adventure Nature Park. We can enjoy a canopy tour, horseback riding, waterslides, and sightseeing. We will dine on Costa Rican cuisine and see the products prepared by the locals. After so much excitement and fun, we get to relax in the thermal waters of one of the park’s dipping pools.
