This thrilling four-wheel-drive journey will take us where breathtaking landscapes and traditional culture are just waiting to be discovered! We will experience the spectacular scenery, lives of rural Costa Ricans that have barely changed over the years, secluded soft silver-sand beaches, exotic flora and fauna and many quaint little villages. Sounds like honeymoon fun!

The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, we will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. We will visit the hot springs of Arenal, where we will relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. This is absolutely an evening we will not want to miss.

From the Bijagual Waterfalls we will plummet from cliffs deep within the lush jungle, climbing a small mountain range in the Carara National Park. On our adventure, we will witness breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Ocean and quaint fishing villages along the way, continuing on horseback through a jungle trail leading us to the waterfalls with its natural beauty, such as lush vegetation, toucans and red macaws. We will experience the pleasure of plunging in the pristine pools at the base of the waterfalls!

This tour is designed to hit all the senses. First, you'll be zip lining, rappelling, rock climbing, Tarzan swinging and standing on hanging bridges, all set in a majestic canyon carved over a million years by the Blanco River. The fun doesn't stop there as you will then hike, horseback ride to waterfalls, float on the Negro River in your own inner tube and experience volcanic mud baths.

Your vacation in Costa Rica won't be complete without a visit to Arenal. The best way to enjoy this volcano will be taking the hike through Arenal Volcano National Park to walk on the first lava flow (from 1968). The hike is followed by a delicious lunch at the hot springs restaurant, then you'll have time to relax your mind and body as you enjoy the therapeutic hot water springs. Surround yourself with nature at the volcano and magnificent infrastructure of the pools, waterfalls and wet bars.
