Situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior is arguably Minnesota's most famous residence, the Glensheen Mansion. Also known as the Cogndon Estate, the Glensheen and 7.6 acre grounds offer a glimpse of early 20th century wealth and elegance. Finished in 1908, the mansion was built when Duluth was a bona fide boom town, thanks to rich iron ore mines in areas surrounding the city. At the time of completion, Duluth had more millionaires per capita than any city in the world!

There were no applicable pictures... Apparently most people don't visit freshwater aquariums in the Midwest for their honeymoon. Their loss...

Foodies On Foot joins forces with Lift Bridge Brewery in beautiful Stillwater, MN for a Craft Beer Progressive Dinner. We will board the Stillwater Trolley for a historic city tour on our way to Lift Bridge for a meet and greet with the owners and brewmasters who will give us a guided tour of the brewing facilities along with tastings of their beers. Then, we head back into Stillwater to visit four restaurants where the chef's have chosen mouthwatering foods to pair with a specific Lift Bridge beer at each location.

Because we're just that uncool.

Evangeline's FAVORITE wine... which happens to only be sold in Wisconsin & Northern Illinois. The law also prohibits them from mailing it to AZ. Every time I goes home, at least a few bottles make it into my luggage :)
