Our romantic honeymoon destination, Venice, is the place for romantic rendezvous since 1720! We’ll enjoy a breezy nightcap in the shadows of San Marco and listen to the dueling café orchestras set the mood to the peaceful Venetian vibe!

Many ancient culinary traditions and characteristics of Italy's distinct regional cuisines and traditional recipes are passed down from generation to generation. We will experience hands on instruction by a local Italian husband and wife in Cortona that will include grocery shopping at the local market, preparation of a light antipasto for lunch and finally, a true Italian dinner.

A gondola ride is the quintessence of romantic Venice! We will enjoy a soothing journey along the canals and be captivated by the glamour and elegance of this true Italian honeymoon experience. We'll be taken to a spectacular water front Venetian restaurant to be wined and dined in style. Simply heaven!

We will explore the quintessential wine region of Tuscany! We will learn about the history of the distinctive and historical wine making region of Italy while our expert guides will share their vast knowledge of wine, and more important, offer us a sampling of some of their favorites. Tuscany is not only famous for its wine but also its olive oil. We will taste some of the famous Crostini Toscano as we learn why extra virgin olive oil plays such an important role in Italian Cuisine.

In Tuscany's capital, we will see some of Italy's finest artwork and enjoy the day touring and eating next to the works of Botticelli, da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael as we travel from the Uffizi to the Duomo and the Pitti Palace.

Over the course of our four days in Rome, we will experience guided tours of the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Pantheon, savoring our last few Italian meals in between.

On our romantic Italian honeymoon, we'll embrace Venice's rich history on this guided walk around St. Mark's Square! Afterwards we will tour some of the city's most famous historical landmarks including the gold-dotted St. Mark's Basilica, the Gothic Ducale Palace and the breathtaking Bridge of Sighs. We'll stop for a delicious Italian lunch in between.

We will have to choose from all the local Italian restaurants in town to reserve the perfect table in the most romantic setting. We will tantalize our taste buds with homemade pasta, Panini, fresh Seafood, select an Italian vino and enjoy the best dessert ever, ending with a cup of cappuccino. Now that's amore!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant recommended by locals and unihabited by tourists in Florence.

We'll be visiting one or more of the local establishments to have traditional "cicchetti, tiny plates of bite-sized appetizers served on a toothpick while we mingle with the locals and practice asking for “un altro bicchiere de vino.”

Depending on our mood, we'll go for an adventure in either a Peugot, Fiat or other European trademark car. We can't wait to explore the countryside on our way from Florence to Rome!
