Thanks to your thoughtful wedding gift we will experience exciting rounds of golf on the Historic George C. Thomas, Jr. Championship Golf Course. This par 70, 18-hole course boasts natural surroundings with towering oak trees, lush flora, rolling green fairways and majestic mountains views. On our honeymoon we will challenge ourselves on this spectacular golf course!

We will take part in the Cove and Cave Paddle Experience on our honeymoon at Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. First we will board a boat and cruise to the Channel Islands, witnessing the breathtaking beauty of the coast along the way. Once we arrive we will get to explore the caves and coves by kayak while learning about the local flora and marine life surrounding these abundant islands.

At Ojai Valley Inn and Spa we will discover the charming settings of the Vista Room. Our room is beautifully designed with Spanish Colonial style, a rich palette of creams and neutral hues, dark hardwood accents and Moroccan decor. The Vista Room offers us a king size bed with luscious “Ojai Nest” bedding, bathrobes, lavish Spa Ojai bath amenities and a balcony with stunning views of the mountains, the golf course or the pool.

Cafe Verde, a spa lunch dining restaurant, offers healthy but festive dishes prepared with organic and locally grown produce and enticing spices and herbs. We will choose from fresh salads with savory dressings and vinaigrettes, sumptuous sandwiches, fish, pastas, and breads. Whether we are dining in a charming atmosphere indoors or outside on their garden inspired terrace overlooking the pool, we will tantalize our palate with indulgent flavors for a unique and healthful dining experience.

For breakfast we will enjoy a menu of regionally grown fruits, house made granola, organic egg dishes and other culinary delights complimented by fresh squeezed juices, teas, smoothies and coffee. For lunch, we will enjoy a menu of signature soups, crisp salads, fresh sandwiches and the Chef’s specialties prepared with local and regional ingredients and enticing spices. While dining outdoors on their vine covered pergola on the terrace, we will admire views overlooking 200 year old towering oak trees, the golf course and sweeping mountain vistas!

Beautifully designed with rich earthy decor, deep hardwood accents and plenty of entertainment features, Jimmy’s Pub promises us a remarkable pub experience! Jimmy’s Pub offers a wide variety of award winning California micro-brewed beers, signature margaritas, Central Coast wines and single malt scotches on an extensive beverage list. We will choose from a menu of brick oven pizzas, juicy burgers, mouth-watering appetizers, fresh salads and other casual meal options for indulgent dining on our honeymoon.

Together we will discover an exceptional dining experience in the charming settings of Maravilla. The Chefs prepare all dishes with fresh garden grown and hand made ingredients using enticing spices and other savory foods. We will choose from prime steaks, chops and the freshest seafood all complemented by an extensive, award winning wine list. At Maravilla we will indulge in tantalizing cuisine and impeccable service while admiring stunning views of the surrounding scenery of Ojai Valley!

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

As aspiring oenophiles, or people who just like wine, we'll spend a day at our desired winery enjoying the entertaining and knowledgeable explanation of the winemaking process, followed by a tasting of some of the finest wines! It's wine country, after all!

While relaxing in one of Spa Ojai’s unique anti-gravity chairs, I will experience pure indulgence while my hands and feet are pampered. This manicure and pedicure uses a combination of aromatic lavender freshly picked from the spa courtyard and a blend of other nourishing ingredients to hydrate my hands and feet, leaving me with a peaceful state of mind!

Our honeymoon will be enhanced with a romantic Together Massage in the tranquil settings of Spa Ojai. While lying side by side we will be pampered with soothing massage strokes to achieve deep relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind, body and spirit.
