Along the Riviera, topless sunbathing is de rigueur. Legend says it began with Brigitte Bardot, who pulled off her bra and said, "Let's wake up sleepy St-Trop." We'll use your gift to purchase beachy items like sunscreen for Nick and maybe even a speedo!

We are seriously living the dream... we've rented a private villa on a seaside cliff in Monaco... your gift will contribute to stocking the kitchen with goodies!

Breakfast for two on a sunny Mediterranean morning...

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

As temperatures rise in southern France, the lines outside ice-cream parlors grow longer and longer. Ice-cream making has become an art on the Riviera, where flavors range from tempting tiramisu to fragrant jasmin (jasmine) and from alcoholic Irish coffee to bizarre-sounding chewing gum. Ice-cream supremos include Barbarac in St-Tropez, where you can order an icy home delivery, and Fenocchio in Nice, where you can choose from more than 90 flavors.

Let’s talk seafood – grilled sardines sprinkled with sea salt from the Camargues. Moules frites in the walled city of Aigues Mortes. Bouillabaisse on the Vieux Port of Marseille. Towering raw bars at beachside bistros in Nice. Hungry yet? We are!

Will someone call the producers of the Bachelor...?! Talk about romance... Nick is chartering a helicopter to take us from the airport in Nice to Monaco. He won't be flying this time though... he'll take a backseat to enjoy the Mediterranean views.

To feel the wind blowing through our hair, well, Winter's at least on the open French roads would be a dream come true.

Sadly, we can't take our bikes with us so we'll use your contribution to rent some and hit the hillsides of France.

Nick loves cheese...the more it stinks the better! We'll indulge in some cheese geekery while tasting our way through a wide variety of cheeses from renowned fromageries, all accompanied by great bread and wine.
