Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out our HONEYMOON WISHES website! Rhett and I wanted to let you know all the fun things we plan on doing on our VEGAS honeymoon (we are SO excited!!!)
We are going to spend 5 nights in Vegas. There were a couple of hotels we like; the Rio, the Luxor and Treasure Island are our favorites. The Paris was one of the top picks too but I don't think we'll be able to afford that one. It all depends on what kind of airfare/hotel packages we can get closer to the wedding.
We want to explore the first night. Walk the strip, check out the sights, see the casinos, watch the eruptions of the volcano at the Mirage; the Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo; the fountains at the Ballagio; see the pirate show at Treasure Island; and maybe even the Freemont Experience; all that good "tourist" (FREE) stuff. The other nights we wanted to see some shows. We HAVE to see at least one Cirque de Soleil show --- they have a very special meaning to Rhett and I ---- you see, our first date was a Cirque show in Corpus; then on the night he proposed we had seen another one. We have seen 5 Cirque shows together so far. At this time, there are 9 Cirque shows in Vegas!! "Ka" is the one we have decided we really want to see, but "O" is a close second. Rhett has his heart set on seeing "Penn and Teller" while we're there. "The Blue Man Group" is high on the list also, because what's a Vegas Honeymoon adventure without them? LOL
The Mandalay Bay hotel has a real sand bottom pool we plan on spending a day at.
Wolfgang Puck had a few restaurants in Vegas, we would love to have dinner at one of them, but we just haven't decided which one yet. SO MANY CHOICES!!
I'm also trying (unsuccessfully so far) to talk Rhett into a couple massages at one of the spas. We know we will need one before we return to the real world!
