Christopher loves to fish, and we're going to Thailand, a fish-rich nation, so… we're definitely fishing in Thailand. 

We look forward to scuba diving at this world- renowned diving location. The consistent weather and calm ocean conditions allow us some of the best diving possible. The water is crystal clear, warm and the marine life is abundant, the magnificent corals, and the sea crustaceans of a thousand colors will amaze us. A day we will always remember!

As an alternative to cage diving with sharks, I've talked Chris into some calmer experiences with marine life...

Thai Cooking Class for two at the Thai Organic Farm. All day instruction to learn to create 6 Thai dishes using fresh organic food picked right on the farm! If this were a kickstarter campaign we could promise to cook food for you. But it's not, so we may or may not be able to cook Thai food for you at some point. No promises.

We heard the best Thai Massages are given at the woman's prison in Bangkok. It actually says this in Lonely Planet's Guide to Thailand. So, help us help some prisoners out.

We're going to Koh Tao, Koh Lanta and a few other islands in the Gulf of Thailand. We weather Alaska winters so these beach bungalows are just the ticket! We also need to bring a suitcase with just sunscreen for Chris' beluga white skin.

The catch of the day awaits us! As seafood lovers it will be hard to choose from the different types of seafood restaurants and the variety of fresh fish, all complemented by delectable side dishes, fresh vegetables, and an incredible selection of wines. A delicious treat!

Thai food is dazzling and exotic. We will reserve a table to enjoy tantalizing dishes that will awake our taste buds as we dine on cuisine born out of artistry and ingenuity at our favorite restaurant!

Inter-country flights are fast within Thailand and relatively cheap. And for once, we won't be riding a small plane to get dropped off on an ice strip in the tundra and have to check for polar bears over our shoulder while we walk to the village. So, we'd like to experience that.

It won't be like driving at home. Exploring on our honeymoon will be an adventure.

Alaska is so far from everywhere, which we love, except when we actually want to go somewhere else.
