As art lovers, we'll be delighted by this wonderful tour, which includes a guided tour of the village where Van Gogh lived and painted, where Monet spent much of his life. We will be captivated by the beautiful gardens that inspired the greatest painters of all time!

Paris comes alive as the sunsets. Iridescent lights dance on the Seine. Cafes and streets bulge with an animated crowd. Monuments glow under the last rays of sun while we cycle around the City of Light before relishing a glass of wine aboard a relaxing Seine cruise.

We have always been dying to visit The Catacombs, which form a labyrinth beneath the heart of Paris. Situated twenty meters below ground (the equivalent of a five story building!), it contains the remains of approximately six million Parisians, transferred there gradually between the late eighteenth and mid-nineteenth centuries as graveyards were being closed because of the risk they posed to public health. That's pretty *deep*. ;) We cannot wait to explore this fascinating history up close!

We are looking forward to spending some time exploring Dijon, one of France's most important artistic and historical cities, and discover its richly impressive architectural heritage. We cannot wait to stroll through the picturesque streets of Dijon and learn more about this charming city and it's historical buildings. We plan to explore the "Owl Trail": take our time and stop off at the city's museums, galleries, café terraces, shops and Le Consortium art centre!

We cannot WAIT to see the Eiffel Tower in person! What is going to make this even more special is that we plan to take the lift to see the views of the city from the top of the tower. Le sigh... so amazing.

Spending a day in the famous region of Champagne, with its magnificent vineyards and world class champagnes. Exploring the Moet Chandon and Mums cellars before indulging in a delightful lunch with of course champagne. In France, on our honeymoon, drinking champagne, what more could we want?

A one day trip from Paris to visit five castles in the Loire Valley? Sounds amazing! We will be able to see the majestic castles of Azay-Le-Rideau, Villandry, Chenonceau, Amboise and Clos Luce.

No honeymoon would be complete, without a meeting with the Mona Lisa at the medieval fortress palace of the kings of France. The Louvre Palace bears witness to more than 800 years of history and priceless art work.

We can't go to Paris without seeing this masterpiece of gothic architecture, the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, imagined by Bishop Maurice de Sully built between the 12th and the 14th centuries (1163-1345).

We plan to spend a full week in Paris and take in as much of the city as possible! Paris Passes are a perfect option for what we plan to do. The passes include entrance to over 60 of Paris’ world famous museums and monuments, entry to popular attractions including a Seine River Cruise, Musée Grévin, Tour Montparnasse and even a Wine Tasting experience, hop-on-hop-off bus tour of Paris with Les Cars Rouge, unlimited travel on the metro, buses and RER within central Paris, and Fast Track Entry where we can skip the lines at a selection of the busiest museums and attractions in Paris!

On this tour to the Palace of Versailles, we'll immerse ourselves in the pomp and splendour of France's royal history. We'll explore the glittering Hall of Mirrors and the Royal Apartments. Enjoying a mouthwatering lunch, served in a picturesque restaurant at Antoinette's hamlet overlooking the Grand Canal. A honeymoon must!

We cannot wait to spend our days and nights exploring Paris for our first time! Eventually though, we will have to rest. With your gift, we can be sure to have a nice room to hang our hats... or rather, our berets! :)

We cannot wait to try all of the delicious vegan food in Paris! With your gift, we will be able to dine out and snack on the best veggie-friendly foods Paris has to offer. We cannot wait to try places such as Macéo, Gentle Gourmet Cafe, Loving Hut, My Kitch'n, Cafe Ginger, Grand Appetit... the list goes on and on! Amy would like to express how she cannot wait to find a french baguette to nibble on as they venture from place to place within the city. Yum yum! Oui Oui!

Once we arrive in Paris, we will need to make our way to our hotel to start our Parisian adventure! Likewise, on our last day in Paris, we will need to make our way back to the airport. With your amazing gift, we will be able to have this shuttle booked and ready to go, stress-free.

We plan to be in France for two whole weeks, which means we will have plenty of time to take in some of the French countryside! We want to try and visit the Loire Valley, Dijon, and anywhere else we can manage - perhaps a day trip to London!

Any help to get to and from our destination is a wonderful gift. We will be thanking you long after take off.
