Take a scenic boat cruise past downtown Nassau and famous Paradise Island aboard a custom-built boat. Arriving at the Sea Gardens Marine Park at Athol Island, board the SeaWorld Explorer, an underwater-viewing vessel from which you’ll have the chance to see a 70 year old shipwreck and dozens of species of tropical fish like yellowtail snapper, sergeant majors and parrotfish swimming in a delicate colony of coral, thousands of years in the making.
After exploring this underwater world, board a minibus for a tour of Nassau. Travel to historic Bay Street in downtown and Rawson Square - the traditional center of the Bahamian Government. Learn about the picturesque pastel buildings, erected in the early 1800s, which include the House of Parliament, the old Colonial Secretary’s Office and the Supreme Court. Your next stop will be Fort Fincastle and the Queen’s Staircase, sitting atop one of the highest points in Nassau. Also, drive past the Governor’s Mansion and see the impressive statue of Christopher Columbus.
