On our romantic honeymoon we will enjoy a day of wine tasting at our chosen winery in Napa Valley. While sampling an abundance of wines, we will make a toast to you for this wonderful experience.

Together we will explore the winery with a private tour and wine tasting. First, we will learn about the winemaking process while exploring the winery behind the scenes. Next, we will get to sample some of their famous wines and champagnes while pairing them with tantalizing delights!

Alcatraz and history go hand in hand. Once home to some of America's most notorious criminals, the federal penitentiary that operated here from 1934 to 1963 brought a dark mystique to the Rock. The presence of infamous inmates like Al "Scarface" Capone, and the "Birdman" Robert Stroud helped to establish the island's notoriety. To this day, Alcatraz is best known as one of the world's most legendary prisons. Many people, though, are unaware of the wealth of other stories to be learned on the island. Alcatraz is now home to rare flowers and plants, marine wildlife, and thousands of roosting and nesting sea birds. Civil War-era buildings dotting the island give insight into the 19th century when the island served as both a harbor defense fort and a military prison. You can also see visible reminders of the American Indian Occupation that started in 1969 after the prison closed, highlighting an important milestone in the American Indian rights movement

A romantic dinner in Downtown is a lovely wedding gift for our honeymoon in the wine country! Downtown offers an abundance of enchanting restaurants serving everything from casual cuisine to gourmet specialties. In an elegant setting we will indulge in a tantalizing dinner, a decadent dessert and a glass or two of locally produced wine!

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

It's casual, fun and perfect for an afternoon lunch. With so many restaurants in town, we'll choose the most perfect, casual restaurant where we'll take delight in the juiciest burgers, fresh sandwiches, chicken and fries!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

The Napa Valley Wine Train provides a relaxing three-hour, thirty-six mile round-trip journey from the historic town of Napa, through one of the world's most well known wine valleys to the quaint village of St. Helena, and back. Guests aboard the Wine Train enjoy a freshly prepared lunch or dinner inside a fully restored 1915-1917 Pullman Dining Car or 1952 Vista Dome car as they pass the vineyards and wineries of Napa Valley. They also have the option of pre-purchasing a winery tour.

Enjoy access to some amazing encounters with our animal ambassadors and their trainers. You’ll be invited to touch, help train, and experience many up-close opportunities with some unbelievable critters. We’ll let you in on some insider’s stories about our animal residents as well as some of the wonderful conservation efforts the San Diego Zoo is involved in. Your memorable encounter will begin as one of the Zoo’s professional photographers takes a photograph of your family/group posing with one of our animal stars. This memory-making photograph is yours free! Other encounters include a close-up meeting and photo with a cheetah, a visit to our rhino exhibit that includes the opportunity to touch and feed our gentle giant, and eye-to-eye contact with more of our exotic wildlife friends. We’ll even teach you how to talk to our animals so that they talk back!
