We will climb aboard a 30-foot, bamboo raft and be poled down a jade-green river's core by our very own experienced raft captain. The Martha Brae River, located in the Jamaican parish of Trelawny (birthplace of sprinter Usain Bolt) invites us to trail our hand in its shimmering waters. We will gaze raptly at towering trees filled with brightly-hued birds and exotic flowers as we glide past the tropical river banks. We'll surrender to the romance of the moment, sensing leaves rustling in the breeze. We'll experience a truly Jamaican pastime as we raft down a gently twisting river glistening in the sun.

We'll experience the majesty of Dunn's River Falls, one of Jamaica's most magnificent natural treasures and one of the globe's most gorgeous spots. We'll join hands and form a human chain, as we wind our way up the rocky slopes of this 600 ft waterfall, led by our expert guides. We'll pose for snapshots amidst the luxuriant foliage that lines the sides of the ascending falls. We'll soak in the refreshing, pure waters, as they cascade down from their untainted source high in the mountains above Ocho Rios. We'll give in to the unbelievable beauty of this wondrous place.

We'll start off with a visit to Seville Great House Museum, where we can marvel at a wealth of artifacts. We'll ride by towering Great Houses and massive sugar factory ruins that date back nearly 500 years. Our private guide will trot alongside us as our ride through wooded areas, where the ancient Taino Indian tribe used to hunt for food long before Columbus first arrived on the island and claimed it for the Spanish Crown. We'll witness archaeological excavations intended to uncover the deep-rooted history of this area. Then we'll strip down to our bathing suits and get ready for an exhilarating dash through the waves on horseback, as we plunge into the turquoise Caribbean Sea. The perfect ending to our perfect day will have us sipping on sparkling wine while indulging in a local favorite, Jamaican jerked chicken served by their own private guide.
