One honeymoon date we can't miss! A day tour of Ancient Rome! An exciting journey through history and its legends, stories and anecdotes. With our guide we will begin at the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, then take a leisurely stroll through the Roman Forum and the Imperial Fori to the Capitol Hill, ending up at the Pantheon, Hadrian's temple dedicated to all the pagan gods. What a great day!

Many ancient culinary traditions and characteristics of Italy's distinct regional cuisines and traditional recipes are passed down from generation to generation. We will experience hands on instruction by our own professional Italian chef. It's true what they say, "Italians live to eat while the rest of the world eats to live."

Touring by boat offers a completely different perspective on the Italian Riviera, as you will see as you cruise along the coastline. Have your camera ready because there simply isn't a bad angle to take a photo of the beautiful cliffs and bay. Upon reaching San Fruttuoso by boat, a tiny, forest-lined inlet only accessible by boat or by foot, you will learn about the history of the medieval abbey. Your first stop will be at Camogli, a small fishing village of brightly painted houses in the Golfo Paradise. The seaside promenade is particularly charming, and it's the historic center. After visiting Camogli's 12th-century, Baroque-style church, enjoy some free time to stroll around. During the return cruise to Portofino, your crew will serve locally made wine and traditional Genoese bread, baked with olive oil and salt.

A short transfer aboard a van brings you to the helipad, located on Barcelona's harbor. Once you have had a chance to get settled into your seat, your expert pilot will guide your helicopter into the air, from where you will admire extraordinary views of the city. Soar over many significant sights, including the harbor, the city's 19th-century district, Gaudí'sSagradaFamilia, Tibidabo Hills, Barcelona Soccer Club's playing field, Olympic Village and the Olympic facilities in Montjuïc. At the conclusion of your ten-minute flight, return to the helipad, re-join your minivan and continue on a panoramic sightseeing exploration of Barcelona. You will first proceed with a drive through Colon Avenue to admire the monument to Christopher Columbus, before reaching Picasso Boulevard by the side of Ciutadella Park. Admire the Arch del Triomf, built for the city's International exhibition of 1888. Arriving on VíaLaietana, you will also see the historic Roman and medieval walls, which still surround part of Barcelona's main Cathedral of Santa Eulalia. Be sure to notice the striking modernist-style homes along Passeig de Gracia before crossing Diagonal Avenue and heading for the magnificent, unfinished SagradaFamilia. After pausing for photos, you'll continue to Barcelona's modern quarter, which is home to many financial institutions and elite residential properties. You will also pass the Pedralbes Monastery, which dates to 1326. Finally, you will ascend Olympic Mountain to the Mirador del Alcalde viewpoint to pause for photos before returning to the ship.

Your tour begins with an inside visit to the magnificent 600-year-old Cathedral of Santa Eulàlia, built on the site of a Roman temple dedicated to Hercules. A more modern aspect of the city appears as you drive along Passeig de Gràcia, one of the city's widest avenues lined with fashionable shops and where you will see some of Antonio Gaudí's amazing Art Nouveau buildings. A stop is made for photos at Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia. Begun in 1884, this peculiar and incredibly original church is slowly being completed solely through donations. The tour continues as you drive up through the Montjuïc gardens to Miramar where you'll stop for photos of the spectacular panoramic view of Barcelona and the harbor before returning to the ship.

See just how incredibly scenic the Principality of Monaco is with a panoramic drive along the Grand Corniche before ascending to the Old City "The Rock". Commence your walking tour passing by the monumental stone Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium, inaugurated in 1910 by Prince Albert I. Continue strolling through the narrow streets, then proceed to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace Kelly married, and which now contains their tombs. Next, continue on to the Palace Square, which is dominated by the magnificent residence of Prince Albert II. You will have a bit of free time before continuing the descent from the old town. Later, you’ll board your coach and drive on a portion of the circuit of the Grand Prix to Monte Carlo, one of the area's signature attractions each year. Of course no visit to Monte Carlo would be complete without seeing Monte Carlo’s Grand Casino. The casino was designed by Charles Garnier, the French architect who built the famed Paris Opera and opened to great fanfare in 1878. Although it has is known for its gaming, it also features amazing architecture, stained glass windows, and allegorical paintings. Your guided tour does not include an interior visit of the casino; however, you will have some free time to explore on your own before it’s time to return to the ship.

A magnet for celebrities, Saint-Tropez is a legendary French Riviera resort city, and you will see its very best. This tour begins right at the pier with a short walk to the world-famous Annonciade Museum, which is housed in a former chapel. Its collection of Post-Impressionistic paintings from artists such as Matisse, Derain and Signac is truly breathtaking. Afterwards, journey through downtown Saint-Tropez, an ebullient area with signature outdoor cafés and impressive boutiques. Later, at a secluded vantage point, you will behold the town and the sea beyond, an unforgettable sight. Then, you may return to the ship with the tour group, or remain downtown to enjoy free time on your own.

On this honeymoon trip we'll visit the charming hill town of Tivoli, less than an hour from the hustle and bustle of Rome, wander around Villa Adriana, a sprawling estate that includes theatres, baths, temples, fountains, and palaces before heading to Villa d'Este, renowned for its spectacular gardens, elaborate fountains and breathtaking views over the plain towards the Eternal City.

We will explore the quintessential wine region of Tuscany! We will learn about the history of the distinctive and historical wine making region of Italy while our expert guides will share their vast knowledge of wine, and more important, offer us a sampling of some of their favorites. Tuscany is not only famous for its wine but also its olive oil. We will taste some of the famous Crostini Toscano as we learn why extra virgin olive oil plays such an important role in Italian Cuisine.

With your wedding gift we will visit and see the natural and artistic beauty of the small medieval villages just outside Rome. Visiting Frascati, famous worldwide for its wine and sample the local product, viewing the scenery, the small villages and the wine there is so delicious! So much to see and enjoy on our honeymoon!

We will tour through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside towards the historic university city of Pisa. Together, we'll take the panoramic drive along the Arno embankments, visit the Piazza dei Miracoli famous for the celebrated Leaning Tower, and unequalled masterpieces of Romanesque art carried out between the 11th and 12th centuries. This will be a great honeymoon day!

Geared for culinary enthusiasts, this highly tempting tour will provide you with a true gastronomic introduction into the rich and tasteful local Ligurian cuisine. After being tendered ashore, you'll transfer to a touring boat for a short cruise along the coastline to Santa Margherita. Arriving here, you'll meet your motor coach and travel to the scenic seaside town of Recco. Ligurian cuisine is widely enjoyed by many and is best known for its specialties of focaccia, delicious bread made with olive oil and pesto; a heavenly sauce used to compliment pasta; and the locally-caught fresh fish. The delightful of Recco is where you will find the 'o vittorio' restaurant where you will be welcomed by a chef who will happily share with you some of the secrets of his art. A truly fun and informative demonstration will be given on how to make some local specialties. This may include pesto sauce; ingredients of which include fresh basil, garlic, cheese and walnuts. You will also see how other typical Ligurian fare is made, such as handmade pasta and ravioli. At the conclusion of your demonstration, you'll be treated to a leisurely lunch which will consist of an array of wonderful Italian dishes - including your own creations along with some delicious locally produced wine. Topping off your meal will be a lovely dessert and coffee. All too soon, it's time to retrace your route and make the return trip back to the pier in Portofino.

During the drive through Marseille's Old Quarter, your knowledgeable guide will share many fascinating details about the city's ancient history, including the influence of the Greeks who first settled here around 600 B.C. Past the old port, which is the site of the original settlement, looms the landmark church Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica, built in the Romanesque-Byzantine style. Then, it's on to Cassis via the beautiful Corniche Road that hugs the pristine coastline. A small resort town nestled at the base of a medieval castle, Cassis is highly regarded as one of the world's most romantic destinations. The irresistible aromas of fresh Provence herbs fill the air urging you to explore this charming fishing village. You'll have time to stroll the many squares and streets, taking in the gorgeous, white cliffs of Calanques and the deep-blue sea.

We'll relax on a romantic gondola ride along the Grand Canal, Venice's largest waterway. We will be serenaded by live music as we wind through secret canals and enjoy the ornate Venetian architecture. This will be very romantic!

See some of Palma's highlights and then enjoy a real Flamenco show while being treated to some delicious traditional tapas. Boarding your coach at the pier, you'll make your way to the city center, viewing some of Palma's landmarks en route. Upon arrival, you'll follow your guide on foot and have exterior visits of Palma's Gothic-style Cathedral and the Almudaina Palace. As you stroll through the narrow streets of the beautiful old town, you'll also have a chance to admire historic palaces that are nowadays residences for the wealthy families of Palma. Some free time after your guided walk allows you to browse on your own and shop for souvenirs. Rejoining your coach and guide, you'll next experience the real roots of Spain as you savor a typical tapas lunch served with wine and sangria, all while enjoying an entertaining Flamenco show. You will no doubt be enthralled as you watch this time-honored Spanish ballet with its hints of a modern trend that features Flamenco dancing accompanied by Spanish guitar and drum box music. Afterwards, your coach stands ready to transfer you directly back to the cruise ship pier.

The Spanish island of Mallorca offers some of the Mediterranean's most beautiful beaches, and this excursion affords you the opportunity to relax on one of the finest. After departing from the pier, you will arrive at a popular stretch of sand, to do whatever you please. Stroll along the serene shoreline, sunbathe on the beach, relax in the shade with a good book, and engage in a lively conversation with the locals. This is your time to enjoy as you see fit at your own pace. Afterwards, you will return to the pier.

Barcelona, the capital of the Catalonia region, is one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities in the world. This vibrancy will capture us as we tour the colorful Gothic Quarter, and savor the beautiful panoramic view from the top of Montjuich. Our honeymoon trip to Spain would not be complete without visiting Gaudi's fabulous Guell Park declared an artistic monument and world heritage site.

There is no better way to get acquainted with a city than on foot.
