One honeymoon date we can't miss! A day tour of Ancient Rome! An exciting journey through history and its legends, stories and anecdotes. With our guide we will begin at the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, then take a leisurely stroll through the Roman Forum and the Imperial Fori to the Capitol Hill, ending up at the Pantheon, Hadrian's temple dedicated to all the pagan gods. What a great day!

With your wedding gift we'll enjoy an excursion to the bustling city of Naples, home to mouth-watering pizza, and then head off to Pompeii with well-preserved ancient ruins and Italian treasures. This will be an incredible experience!

After a romantic honeymoon dinner, we'll experience Rome by night! We will stroll to the unforgettable Trevi Fountain, then on to the Roman Pantheon built in 27 BC to sample the most praised ice cream in Italy. Next, we will have a nightcap at the Piazza Navona, considered the most beautiful square in Rome with its 3 Bernini fountains. We can't wait!

We are going to take a bus to Macchia Valfortore, a town located three hours southeast of Rome, in order to visit the hometown of Sam's Great Great Grandfather, Giuseppe Spallone. One of Macchia's attractions is the Church of San Nicola: 16th century church with 12 busts of Saints made of wood created by Giacomo Colombus of Naples.

We will discover the heart of Rome as we gently cruise along the River Tiber, absorbing the historical and architectural richness of our romantic honeymoon Destination. That's Amore!

Villa Borghese is a large landscape garden in the naturalistic English manner in Rome, containing a number of buildings, museums and attractions. It is the third largest public park in Rome. We can't wait to stroll through it!

Cinque Terre is a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera. It means "The Five Lands" and is comprised of five gorgeous villages. We will take a train up, hike the five villages, and spend a nice night eating dinner and watching the sunset.

On this honeymoon trip we'll visit the charming hill town of Tivoli, less than an hour from the hustle and bustle of Rome, wander around Villa Adriana, a sprawling estate that includes theatres, baths, temples, fountains, and palaces before heading to Villa d'Este, renowned for its spectacular gardens, elaborate fountains and breathtaking views over the plain towards the Eternal City.

We want to learn how to cook the best Italian food from Carbonara pasta to tiramisu! Mangiamo.

We would love to experience the opera at Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. Opera was born in Italy around the year 1600 and Italian opera has continued to play a dominant role in the history of the form until present day.

We will take a romantic honeymoon drive along the breath-taking Amalfi coast to the hilltop town of Ravello, with a lovely Romanesque cathedral and the famous gardens of the Villa Rufalo, then on to picture perfect Sorrento to dine outdoors with spectacular views of the Italian Riviera and of course shopping!

With your wedding gift we will visit and see the natural and artistic beauty of the small medieval villages just outside Rome. Visiting Frascati, famous worldwide for its wine and sample the local product, viewing the scenery, the small villages and the wine there is so delicious! So much to see and enjoy on our honeymoon!

We will visit the city of Rome on our honeymoon and experience the amazing history it has to offer. Admiring the architecture and soaking up the culture as we explore the city at our own pace, as we hop on and hop off an antique trolley car!

With your wedding gift we will take a bird's eye view of Rome, enjoying the breathtaking views of the Eternal City, with its countless monuments, churches, domes, piazzas and fountains. A unique and truly memorable honeymoon event!

Train ride to an exciting winter holiday in the Alps where we will ski, snowboard, night sled, and eat cheese and chocolate fondue. 

St. Peter's Basilica is a church located within Vatican City and remains one of the largest churches in the world. The Sistine Chapel is a large and renowned chapel of the Apostolic Palace, the official residence of the Pope in the Vatican City. Exploring those places will be a time we never forget.

What a romantic evening as the ship drifts out to sea for a night under a blanket of stars. We will make sure we reserve a table now to enjoy a spectacular dinner captivated by a picture perfect sunset.

On our walking tour we'll visit St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. The Vatican is one of the most interesting and breathtakingly beautiful sites in the world, with some very interesting stories, and our personal guide has all the scoop!

It's casual, fun and perfect for an afternoon lunch. With so many restaurants in town, we'll choose the most perfect, casual restaurant where we'll take delight in the juiciest burgers, fresh sandwiches, chicken and fries!

The catch of the day awaits us! As seafood lovers it will be hard to choose from the different types of seafood restaurants and the variety of fresh fish, all complemented by delectable side dishes, fresh vegetables, and an incredible selection of wines. A delicious treat!

A table will be reserved for us at our favorite restaurant. We can choose from fresh fruits, freshly baked pastries, breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, French toast, hash browns, juice and coffee. Give us the works we need our energy on our getaway.

We will have to choose from all the local Italian restaurants in town to reserve the perfect table in the most romantic setting. We will tantalize our taste buds with homemade pasta, Panini, fresh Seafood, select an Italian vino and enjoy the best dessert ever, ending with a cup of cappuccino. Now that's amore!

We’ll love a night just to ourselves! Indulging in the romantic ambiance, we’ll enjoy tantalizing cuisine at our favorite restaurant and make a toast to our lives together!

We would love just one more night to celebrate and indulge in romance! At our favorite restaurant we’ll enjoy spectacular cuisine and sip on classical cocktails and concoctions while toasting to us and our ‘last’ night on our escape in paradise!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

At our favorite Steak House, we'll reserve a table so we can tantalize our tastebuds! We'll choose from an array of prime aged steaks, chops, bone-In New York, filet mignon, double pork chops and racks of lamb. All choices are grilled the classic way juicy, tender, with the flavors developed fully. This is a sanctuary for us steak aficionados. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.

With so many ice cream parlors in town, we'll try everything from hot fudge sundaes to soft serve ice cream and thick milkshakes. Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!

We will visit all the trendy stores on the main street in the heart of the busy city, checking out the classically elegant European clothes in all the boutiques. We'll shop until we drop!

Boat ride to the most beautiful island in the world where we can wonder the streets of Palermo, relax at the Mondello Beach, and eat pistachio cannoli.

Pizza Pizza Pizza!!!  We love pizza.  Roman, Neapolitan, Sicilian, and more.  Out to try it all.  

We plan to climb Il Duomo, tour Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio. For lunch we will stop for pizza and then move onto The Baptistery, one of Florence's oldest buildings. After visiting the bell tower, Campanile, we will finish our day eating dinner at Il Latini, an all time favorite of ours.

Any help to get to Rome is a wonderful gift. We will be thanking you long after take off.
