On our romantic escape we will discover the highlights of our honeymoon destination with your generous wedding gift. Expedia offers an array of tours, activities and excursions. Thank you for allowing us to plan our dream honeymoon by contributing to any and all of our adventures as a newly married couple.

We will board a catamaran and cruise through the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean. We will snorkel among tropical fish and witness an underwater world of beauty. Refreshments, wine, beer and Mai Tais are included.

Together, we will enjoy a majestic Sunset Sail adventure on our honeymoon at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa! We will sail through the Pacific Ocean's sparkling waters and sip on a Mai Tai while enjoying appetizers and lounging on the deck. Before heading back, we will witness a spectacular Hawaiian sunset painting the sky with tropical brilliant colors!

We will begin the tour with a wonderful drive of contrast and change from the dry-side resort area to the lush green country of Kohala. Along the way we'll journey up the North Kona and Kohala coastlines over lava flows from Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and the Kohala Mountains. We'll pass through the quaint plantation towns of Hawi and Kapaau, site of the life-size statue of King Kamehameha. At the end of the road we will pass through a locked gate onto private property, and the real fun begins with a bumpy but short off-road drive in our 6WD Pinzgauer on an old cane road.

We'll trade smiles with man's best aquatic friend above or below the water's surface during this shallow-water dolphin interaction. We'll swim with the sea's friendliest and most intelligent species at Dolphin Quest, which for more than two decades, has been a model habitat for marine mammals where dolphins live, play and reproduce free from the threats they face in the wild. Dolphin Quest's Learning Center Lagoon was the first of its kind and inspired a new generation of large, natural habitats for marine mammals.

Soon enough, we will be taking a horseback riding adventure on the Big Island! Along the way, we will witness spectacular panoramic views of the mountains and coastline, cinder cones, ancient Hawaiian ruins and lush pastures. This unforgettable honeymoon experience will take us on a journey where the breathtaking beauty of Hawaii will unfold before our eyes!

We will explore the magnificent volcano, Haleakala, through a bike tour. We'll soak up the sunrise at the summit, and then begin our bike ride down the volcano. Laura is confident her bike-riding skills will be sufficient to get her down the volcano!

Allow us the opportunity to explore the Big Island by water!

We hike 2.5 miles round trip to waterfalls from 10 to 40 feet high. Depending on how fast you hike, you can reach three to five falls. There are great waterfalls, big, clear swimming pools, fresh-water streams, gorgeous bamboo and tropical rain forests. Plus, you can jump off cliffs into the pools, if you’re athletically inclined. The whole area is a playground of beauty and adventure. And the waterfalls can’t be beat.

With your wedding gift we can plan ahead and upgrade to a romantic honeymoon suite. Our suite will be just steps from the beach nestled amongst the magnificent lush, fragrant tropical gardens and framed with breathtaking ocean views. We will be pampered in style and comfort, leaving us with "suite" memories!
