In Europe it is standard to rent 2 lounge chairs, a table, and 2 umbrellas for the day on the beach. We'll be spending lots of time on the beach so this gift will let us do so in the cool shade of a beach umbrella!

According to Rick Steves (our go to travel guru) there is a tiny boat rental business on the beach of this town. We'll wake up early and Sammy will be my captain for our waterside coastal adventure!

There are few treats in life that equal strolling back to the apartment after a long hard day at the beach in the Mediterranean with a cool creamy scoop of gelato! Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

It won't be like driving at home! But Bridget will love zooming around the mountainous and curvy European roads in a little stick-shift econo car!

It's just a quick flight to the South of France from Paris and flying is the fastest way to get there! We don't want to waste any of our precious southern time on the rail system.
