We'd like to do a one day helicopter and scuba diving trip over to the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns.

Before we can dive on the Great Barrier Reef, we need to get Scuba certified! Help us do just that! Here's what we get (we need to pay this x2): Open Water Diver – €595 This is one of the most popular PADI scuba diving courses. On completition of this course, you will be confident to dive to a max depth of 18m without an instructor by your side.  You will be rewarded with the PADI – Open Water Certificate, which is recognised worldwide.  The course is run with the student time frame in mind.  5 pool dives – 5 knowledge development (Theory) sessions and 4 Open water dives.  With our highly trained instructor by your side, you will be experiencing the underwater world in no time.  Our after care is second to none. With our dive shop, full equipment rental, dive trips locally and countrywide.  PADI course to move to the next level, all your needs will be fulfilled. 

We'll be staying in Auckland for three nights.

We're going to stay two nights in Cairns, before and after the Great Barrier Reef trip!

We'll be staying three days in Christchurch.

We'll be in Sydney for a week! Woohoo!

We'll be staying three days in Wellington

Picking up and dropping off in Sydney, but we're gonna put some miles on it for sure.

We'll be picking up the rental car in Auckland, driving to Wellington and then taking the car ferry over to Christchurch.

Our itinerary is: Dublin, Ireland -> Auckland, New Zealand Christchurch, New Zealand -> Sydney, Australia Sydney, Australia -> Dublin, Ireland

We'll tour the Blue Mountains in Australia - a UNESCO site!

A full day tasting wine and cheese in Australia's Hunter Valley!
