Our guide will take us to scuba dive or snorkel in the crystalline waters amongst coral reefs abundant with tropical fish, colorful corals and other types of amazing marine life. After exploring an underwater paradise, we will head back to the resort and indulge in a refreshing drink.

Together we will enjoy a scenic excursion while kayaking in the mangrove reserve of Laguna de Potosi on our honeymoon. Our guide will lead us into a saltwater lagoon where we will admire a variety of waterfowl and migratory birds. Paddling through channels, bays, wetlands and even open water, we will witness the breathtaking beauty of this lush paradise while kayaking on our honeymoon.

With your lovely wedding gift, we will tour the tropical surroundings of our honeymoon destination on the Jungle Excursion. We will embark on a journey into the lush jungle while making our way to a pristine beach and a quaint fishing village. In the village we will board a boat and cruise to the Laguna de Potosi where we will enjoy a horseback ride and indulge in a traditional lunch of “a la talla” fish with handmade tortillas.

Cooking classes on our honeymoon at Viceroy Zihuatanejo will be an unforgettable experience that we will put to good use back at home. First, the Executive Chef will take us to the market to learn about the different herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables while shopping for select ingredients. We will head back to the resort, prepare a special dish while taking notes and indulge in our creation afterwards.

At Viceroy Zihuatanejo we will luxuriate in romantic and exquisite dining experience with the Private Lagoon Dinner on our honeymoon. We will be transported by canoe to a private island in the resort’s tranquil lagoon, surrounded by lush foliage and glowing candles and torchlight. A beautifully decorated table with a menu introduced on a scroll in a bottle will be set up especially for us. After looking over the Mediterranean seafood menu, our personal waiter will serve us a tantalizing dinner for an unforgettable evening dining in paradise. Designed for men, this facial will protect and restore skin from damage caused by environmental pollution, the sun and razor blade irritations. I will receive a deep cleansing, followed by an exfoliation, a mask with masculine aromas and a relaxing shoulder, neck and head massage.

I will experience the Sun Undone spa treatment on my honeymoon at Viceroy Zihuatanejo. In the serene settings of The Spa, a soothing blend of freshly picked Aloe Vera, Baja Lavender and organic Chamomile will help heal sun-drenched skin. Tequila and Ceviche Tasting Our Maestro Tequilero will reveal the secrets and history of Mexico's signature, age-old liquor, Tequila. The classic spirit will be paired with three creative and delicious Ceviche combinations. Enjoy a tour through the very best with the resort's Tequila Maestro - from the peppery flavor of mid-aged reposados and the woody aroma of aged añejos to the freshness of blancos. Each is accompanied by a different Sangrita to cool and complement. Maestro will discuss the origins of blue agave and share proper drinking techniques. Reservations are required.
