This thrilling four-wheel-drive journey will take us where breathtaking landscapes and traditional culture are just waiting to be discovered! We will experience the spectacular scenery, lives of rural Costa Ricans that have barely changed over the years, secluded soft silver-sand beaches, exotic flora and fauna and many quaint little villages. Sounds like honeymoon fun!

The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, we will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. We will visit the hot springs of Arenal, where we will relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. This is absolutely an evening we will not want to miss.

With your wedding gift, we will experience the diversity of abundant marine life, magnificent colorful corals and the reef beyond! We will truly know where paradise subsides!

On our way to our destination, we will travel through tropical forests near Rincon de la Vieja National Park, the Guanacaste Mountain Range, passing by small villages and cattle ranches. Arriving at the natural hot springs, we will get to try the therapeutic properties of the ever-so-famous mineral mud along with a nice soak in the warm waters marveling at the lush tropical scenery. If we are feeling adventurous we can be swinging through the trees like Tarzan and Jane to experience a world only the bird's eye sees!

We will discover the beauty of nature in a lush rainforest on the Pacific Coast in Costa Rica, visiting the Guacalillo estuary and the delta of the Tarcoles River near the Carara National Park, surrounded by mangroves and tropical forests where we will see different species of flora and fauna. Witnessing large colonies of crocodiles, nesting sites of the scarlet macaw and different types of species, we will have to bring our camera for this honeymoon expedition!

With your wedding gift, we will indulge in the crisp night air and take a walk to The Dendrobates Reserve where we will get to witness different types of frogs from tree frogs to bullfrogs, along with a variety of colorful species such as poison dart frogs, snakes, night birds, mammals and insects. We will enjoy this nocturnal activity through a rainforest so precious!

We can't wait to take a leisurely cruise down the Tempisque River, visiting Palo Verde National Park, a wildlife sanctuary rich with rivers, marshland, mangroves and dry forest. Admiring the natural beauty, searching for crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas and many different species of birds. We'll have an amazing amount of fun!

Starting out from Uvita Beach, we will sail to Marina Ballena Island where we will discover an underwater world like no other as we snorkel among the magnificent corals, sea turtles, lobsters many brilliantly colored reef fish with high hopes in spotting fun-loving dolphins and swimming with them, and maybe even humpback whales!

With your thoughtful wedding gift, we will have a picture perfect experience horseback riding through Costa Rica's countryside, approaching an exuberant natural tropical world of flora and fauna! This will be one romantic happy honeymoon journey!

We'll learn to cook true Caribbean style on the beach. Not only will we learn the secrets from a local chef, we get to feast on our creation for lunch.
