We'll post up under the colorful umbrellas along the coast and soak up the sun!

We'll pack a picnic and put on our hiking boots to explore the gorgeous cliffs of the coast.

One honeymoon date we can't miss! A day tour of Ancient Rome! An exciting journey through history and its legends, stories and anecdotes. With our guide we will begin at the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, then take a leisurely stroll through the Roman Forum and the Imperial Fori to the Capitol Hill, ending up at the Pantheon, Hadrian's temple dedicated to all the pagan gods. What a great day!

We'll put our dancing lessons to good use and spend the night at a club with live music, cutting a rug on the dance floor.

After a romantic honeymoon dinner, we'll experience Rome by night! We will stroll to the unforgettable Trevi Fountain, then on to the Roman Pantheon built in 27 BC to sample the most praised ice cream in Italy. Next, we will have a nightcap at the Piazza Navona, considered the most beautiful square in Rome with its 3 Bernini fountains. We can't wait!

We'll take a bus to the bottom of the world's 'most deadly' volcano and then spend the afternoon hiking to the top!

We can't visit Capri without making a trip to the gorgeous Blue Grotto! We'll take a row boat out for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to swim in the glowing waters.

This beautiful villa is known for its cascading gardens. It also has a breathtaking view of the sea.

This sleepy fishing town will be empty this time of year — making it the perfect excursion!

We'll head out on a boat with one of the locals for an afternoon of deep-sea fishing.

Before we depart for our trip, we'll take lessons in Italian at Indiana University to help prepare us for our honeymoon.

Italy is known for its fine leathers. A local craftsman will show us how they stretch the fabric into beautiful shoes and purses, then craft a pair of custom sandals for us to take home!

There's no better way to explore than with the help of a local. We'll hire someone to show us the hidden gems of the Amalfi Coast.

On our walking tour we'll visit St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. The Vatican is one of the most interesting and breathtakingly beautiful sites in the world, with some very interesting stories, and our personal guide has all the scoop!

We can't wait to explore the rich history of Rome! We'll stay in the heart of the action, within walking distance to many of the ancient attractions.

Our room will overlook the sea, allowing us to wakeup to breathtaking views.

We can't travel to Italy without sampling the wine. We'll toast to our future together!

We'll spend the afternoon learning the basics of Italian cuisine — making hand rolled pasta and homemade sauce.

We'll take our lunch to the beach and enjoy delicious, regional food from the local market.

We'll enjoy breakfast while looking out on the beautiful coast. 

As craft beer lovers, we're interested to see what Italy has to offer when it comes to fine ales. We'll pop into local pubs and try a few brews, thanks to your wonderful gift.

When in Rome — eat LOTS of gelato! We plan to make a trip to as many different gelaterias as possible.

Pizza, panini and pasta — now that's amore! We can't wait to sample all of the regional cuisine. 

Sorrento is famous for its lemon trees — and limoncello! We'll sample different varieties at a local limoncello stand.

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

We would love to shop around for our favorite piece of art as a cherished keepsake from our once in a lifetime trip. This gift will adorn our home for many years to come!

Amalfi is known for its tradition of paper making. We'll use your gift to visit a local shop and buy beautiful stationary that will always remind us of our trip!

The ancient ruins of Paestum are very well preserved. We'll be able to explore their rich history with your generous gift.

One of the best ways to take in the beautiful views of the coast is by sea. We'll enjoy a sunset cruise and breathtaking sites.

The island of Capri has long been a favorite getaway of the rich and famous. We'll take a boat to the island and enjoy the beautiful views and sparkling blue waters for a day!

We'll use local trains to take day trips to cities along the coast. From Almafi to Salerno, we can't wait to explore!

What better way to explore the windy roads of the Almafi Coast than by scooter? Don't worry — James will be driving.
