Messina is known as "The Door of Italy" and is the first stop on our cruise. It is a more modern city due to most of the historic buildings being destroyed by earthquakes and bombings in World War II, but it still has one of Sicily's finest cathedrals. 

Valletta, our second stop, was founded by the order of St John as a refuge for soldiers returning from the Crusades. You can also view the relic of the right wrist-bone of St Paul, and part of the column on which the saint was beheaded in Rome in the Church of St Paul's Shipwreck.

Everyone's heard of Barcelona so we'll just say that we're excited for tapas, sangria, and seeing Gaudi's world famous Sagrada Familia on our fourth stop.

Our fifth stop is the second largest city in France, after Paris, and the oldest. It is famous for it's bouillabaisse - traditional fish soup - as well as being the featured port in The Three Musketeers. 

Genoa is the 6th stop in our cruise, containing the oldest lighthouse in the world as well as the house where Christopher Columbus was said to have been born. Also, lots of salami. 

A sixteen hour layover will be turned into another chance to be world travelers!

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

Maybe the coffee is free, and maybe it isn't, but we're not taking any chances!

We will experience the special indulgence of a couple's massage lying side-by-side being pampered with exotic oils that hydrate the skin, rejuvenate senses, and leave us refreshed and revitalized. We want to reserve our spa treatments early for this ultimate spa experience!

We'll savor an exotic medley of fruit to enjoy while overlooking the high seas on our honeymoon cruise.

I will be pampered with a foot facial, foot cleansing, foot scrub, masque and moisturizing massage of lower legs and feet. This is a pure delight for my soles and soul!
