With our guide we will begin at the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, then take a leisurely stroll through the Roman Forum and the Imperial Fori to the Capitol Hill, ending up at the Pantheon, Hadrian's temple dedicated to all the pagan gods. What a great day!

With your wedding gift we'll enjoy an excursion to the bustling city of Naples, home to mouth-watering pizza, and then head off to Pompeii with well-preserved ancient ruins and Italian treasures. This will be an incredible experience!

After a romantic honeymoon dinner, we'll experience Rome by night! We will stroll to the unforgettable Trevi Fountain, then on to the Roman Pantheon built in 27 BC to sample the most praised ice cream in Italy. Next, we will have a nightcap at the Piazza Navona, considered the most beautiful square in Rome with its 3 Bernini fountains. We can't wait!

With your gift we will have a chance to take a day cruise to the beautiful Mediterranean island of Capri. We will ride a jet boat to the island and dock to explore the towns of Anacapri and Capri, whose highlights include Villa San Michele, the Faraglioni rock formations and the Blue Grotto.

Our romantic honeymoon destination, Venice, is the place for romantic rendezvous since 1720! We’ll enjoy a breezy nightcap in the shadows of San Marco and listen to the dueling café orchestras set the mood to the peaceful Venetian vibe!

The main event in the rest of the world is soccer. We'll catch a football match as they call it!

Together we’ll experience Chiesa di Sant’Alvise while honeymooning in romantic Venice! This medieval church will amaze us with its ornate baroque interior while learning about its rich history!

Visiting south of Florence, we will stroll along the city's political heart flanked by the Palazzo Vecchio. Next, we will visit the town hall and the Uffizi Gallery, one of Italy's leading art galleries. We'll visit the church of the Santa Croce home to frescoes by Giotto and tombs of some of Florence's greatest men: Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and Rossini and no visit would be complete without a tour of the Gallery of the Academy with the original masterpiece David by Michelangelo!

We'll be taken to a spectacular water front Venetian restaurant to be wined and dined in style. Simply heaven!

On our romantic Italian honeymoon, we'll embrace Venice's rich history on this guided walk around St. Mark's Square! Afterwards we will tour some of the city's most famous historical landmarks including the gold-dotted St. Mark's Basilica, the Gothic Ducale Palace and the breathtaking Bridge of Sighs.

We will learn about the history of the distinctive and historical wine making region of Italy while our expert guides will share their vast knowledge of wine, and more important, offer us a sampling of some of their favorites. We will taste some of the famous Crostini Toscano as we learn why extra virgin olive oil plays such an important role in Italian Cuisine.

While honeymooning in Venice, we’ll need to pick up some local artwork to bring home as a souvenir! Artist Giovanni Moro’s hand-painted replicas of Venice’s historic buildings and churches in miniature are perfect to adorn the walls of our home for the many years to come!

We will take a romantic honeymoon drive along the breath-taking Amalfi coast to the hilltop town of Ravello, with a lovely Romanesque cathedral and the famous gardens of the Villa Rufalo, then on to picture perfect Sorrento to dine outdoors with spectacular views of the Italian Riviera and of course shopping!

For more than 1,000 years the city of Murano has carried on a legacy of glassmaking artistry. So, on our honeymoon we’ll witness the methods of this unique craft and learn that it was once considered treason for glass workers to leave the city!

Our honeymoon in Venice would not be complete without a visit to Torcello! This birthplace of Venetian commerce was once home to 20,000 people and now the numbers less than 80. We’ll wander past the eerily overgrown main square to discover the village’s former glory revealed by intricate Byzantine mosaics in the town church!

We will spend an evening in a charming enoteca and discover the world of Venetian wine. Walls lined with bottles will make our mouth water and our taste buds tingle! An expert sommelier will introduce us to regional varieties and explain the art of examining, smelling, and appreciating wines. To enhance the flavour of the selected wines, home-baked bread, local prosciutto, salami, and cheeses will be served. A perfect evening for us happy honeymooners!

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

The catch of the day awaits us! As seafood lovers it will be hard to choose from the different types of seafood restaurants and the variety of fresh fish, all complemented by delectable side dishes, fresh vegetables, and an incredible selection of wines. A delicious treat!

A table will be reserved for us at our favorite restaurant. We can choose from fresh fruits, freshly baked pastries, breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, French toast, hash browns, juice and coffee. Give us the works we need our energy on our getaway.

We will have to choose from all the local Italian restaurants in town to reserve the perfect table in the most romantic setting. We will tantalize our taste buds with homemade pasta, Panini, fresh Seafood, select an Italian vino and enjoy the best dessert ever, ending with a cup of cappuccino. Now that's amore!

We can’t wait to visit this local pub, hidden behind the cobbled streets of Venice! This pub offers us the traditional cicchetti, tiny plates of bite-sized appetizers served on a toothpick while we mingle with the locals and practice asking for “un altro bicchiere de vino.”

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

Dario is from Panzano in the Chianti region of Italy. Here we will have a dining experience like no other. Dining with other guests, a 6 course meal of meats, seasonal vegetables, beans, olive oil, bread, wine, coffee, cake and liqueurs. This is a sanctuary for us steak aficionados. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.

With so many ice cream parlors in town, we'll try everything from hot fudge sundaes to soft serve ice cream and thick milkshakes. Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!
