We’ll take advantage of our Villa Special Bungalow, which is the most sophisticated bungalow at the resort and is an invitation to indulge in pure hedonism. The best spot at the resort has been reserved for this exclusive option, affording a view that takes in the miniature island in front of the beach, a wide expanse of ocean and the pretty little fishing village of Ganchos do Meio. Seen from here the sunset is spectacular and we will not miss it. In the living room a large sofa is an open invitation to rest or read and right in front of it is the home theater with a 34” screen television and a swivel system that allows viewing in total comfort from the bedroom too. The enormous shower room is double: there are two walk-in wardrobes, two basins, two WC’s and two showers. Alongside are a dry sauna and a 12-jet Jacuzzi enclosed by glass doors and a glass roof, providing beautiful natural illumination and a view of the ocean. Final touches of luxury include 600-thread Egyptian cotton and a small wine-cellar. Outside is a large, wooden decked veranda with a private plunge pool set into it. The pool has an infinity effect that gives us the illusion that is an integral part of the sea it overlooks. This private corner of paradise is the ideal place from which to watch the sunset. Two massage therapists will come to our bungalow with a Japanese tatame for a one-hour massage. Relaxing massage for the groom and Dior Spa treatment for the bride! Meanwhile, a waiter will put on the bedroom’s DVD device the musical CD “Ponta dos Ganchos Sunset Celebration” (always a new CD as this will be our souvenir), and will set to our side a small table with a bucket containing a chilled Veuve Clicquot Brut Rose Champagne and a plate of red fruits, phisalys, melted chocolate and special jellies. Giving the final touch, they will light aromatherapy candles around us that will create a romantic and calm environment.
