We'll sail away on our honeymoon into the sunset aboard our private boat with experienced crew members. While sipping our favorite drinks and nibbling from a fresh tropical fish platter, we will feel the sea mist on our faces and indulge in the warm St. Lucia wind racing through our hair. On our journey we'll get to take the most breathtaking photos and talk of many more tropical island sunsets to come!

Our journey takes us first to the expansive Roseau Valley once cultivated for sugar cane but now Saint Lucia's largest banana plantation, and then to the restored Sugar Mill at La Sikwi in the quaint fishing village of Anse la Raye. We'll visit a museum and learn the history of sugar in the West Indies. Then it's time to sample an array of locally produced rums and liquors at a distillery. On our return trip we will stop at the picturesque Marigot Bay for a once in a lifetime photo opportunity.

Begin with a gentle sail to Soufriere by Catamaran to experience a hands-on demonstration of chocolate making at Hotel Chocalat. This scrumptious tour allows you to become a chocolatier, making your very own bar of chocolate using estate grown cocoa. The Le Boucan restaurant offers a truly unique and gourmet lunch before taking a dip in the therapeutic mud baths. Cap off the day with a swimming and snorkeling stop at the base of the Pitons before enjoying the sunset views on the return journey.

Towering nearly 3,000 feet above sea level, the majestic peak of Gros Piton, along with its twin peak Petit Piton, dominates the western coast of St Lucia. The lush green slopes of these pyramid shaped icons rise from the sapphire blue waters of the Caribbean, filling us with wanderlust. The view itself is a classic—the Pitons of Saint Lucia, soaring straight up from the sea's edge. A visit to the Pitons is decidedly one of things we must do in our lifetime. Snaking up the misty, jungle-covered, boulder-strewn mountainside for the huge views from the top is an experience well worth the hike. Afterwards, we will head to a rest stop for a sumptuous lunch of local delicacies and a refreshing swim in the majestic Caribbean Sea.

The Soufriere Jeep Discovery & Waterfall Revelation will take us on a scenic journey through Saint Lucia's banana plantations, fishing villages, rainforest and lush tropical vegetation. Our guides will share the local history and stories about significant sites along the way to Soufriere, home to the majestic Pitons. The first stop is Morne Coubaril, a 250-acre working plantation where we'll learn about 18th century plantation life. As we travel along an original mule carriage pathway and through reconstructed slave quarters there will be demonstrations of plantation farming practices including copra, cocoa and manioc production. From there we will continue to the sparkling Diamond Waterfall and the Sulphur Springs where we can immerse in the rich mineral water of the mud baths heated by the volcano itself and feel rejuvenated. Our final stop in Soufriere before the return trip will be for a delicious lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients at a locale tucked away in lush tropical greenery and island exotica.

Our guided historical tour begins on land through banana plantations, Marigot Bay and the fishing village of Anse La Raye. On arrival to Soufriere, we will take in the spectacular view of the majestic Pitons. Next, a stop at the Sulphur Springs will take us through the lush Botanical Gardens and on to the picturesque Diamond Waterfall. We will indulge in a scrumptious local lunch and then it will be time for us to head out to sea on a catamaran for snorkelling and a stop at Marigot Bay - where the films Dr. Doolittle and Superman II were filmed - for a one-of-a-kind photo op.

We will step aboard and experience the magical splendor of a unique Dolphin and Whale Watching Experience. We will travel two miles out to the 3,000 feet deep ledge and follow this route down the west coast to Soufriere where the most spectacular sightings have occurred, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. On the trek back, we will motor to the breath-taking Marigot Bay for a photo op before returning to the cove.

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine (Matt!), cinnamon rolls (Theo!), freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

The catch of the day awaits us! As seafood lovers it will be hard to choose from the different types of seafood restaurants and the variety of fresh fish all complemented by delectable side dishes and an incredible selection of wines. A delicious treat!

As we honeymooning in paradise, what can be more appropriate than a relaxing day to ourselves. We'll need a spa day just to ourselves!
