Tour Overview
Your tour begins as you board your transportation for a scenic drive to the Huana Coa Canopy Adventure base camp. Located in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountains in the land of the Los Osuna Vinata, the camp is 45 minutes from Mazatlan. Here, you'll transfer to a classic Swiss Army Pinzgauer 6x6 vehicle and travel off-road from the valley floor into the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range to an old farm with more than 130 years of history.
After receiving instruction and a safety briefing, your high-flying adventure begins. In the semi-desert tropical jungle, you'll move through a series of 12 platforms with nine ziplines and a flex-walk bridge. A rappel from the final platform located in an ancient Huanacaxtle tree will bring you safely back to earth among the vast rows of blue agave. From here, you'll set off on a nature trek to the Huana Coa base camp via Blue Agave Trail.
At the base camp, you'll enjoy a snack before departing to the Los Osuna tequila distillery, where you'll witness the transformation of blue agave into tequila, and sample the wares. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of tequila to take home with you.
Your tour concludes with drive back to the pier, passing by the Golden Zone along the way.
