Hello friends and family. First and foremost, we want to tell you all how grateful we are that we are privileged enough to share this amazing life with each and every one of you. We are so excited to celebrate with so many of you on September 20th, and we truly wish that everyone could be there to share that day with us. We know that is not possible, but we want you all to know, wherever you are, how much we value and cherish you. Life is filled with unknowns and uncertainties. The people you love are not to be taken for granted. So, if nothing else, on September 20th, in honor of us, remind someone that you love them. There is no greater gift.

We decided to set up this honeymoon registry as an alternative to a traditional wedding registry. We have been together long enough that we already have the things we need for our day to day life and the last thing we want is for anyone to spend money on unnecessary material things. We happen to live in a day in age where we lose sight of experiences in lieu of possessions. We forget to live. Really live. And while we don't want anyone to feel obligated to spend money at all, because it is not an expectation that we have of anyone, we would like to offer those who have asked or who would like to do so the opportunity to contribute to an experience that we might not otherwise have. More than anything, we would love to be able to take a modest vacation together and spend some quality time together and share our first new experience together as a married couple.

So, if you choose to do so, instead of buying us dishes and towels and blenders and whatever else you're supposed to gift a newly married couple, help us create this memory that we will hold in our hearts forever. All though Ryan did manage to explode our blender all over the place the other day, so I will rescind the blender...we need one blender.
