| Akrotiri is one of the most famous excavations in Greece, and brought to light a Minoan town preserved under the pumice for 3000 years. Excavations are ongoing, and archaeologists debate whether this could be the lost city of Atlantis (probably not, but we want to see it anyway!). This tour will also take us to the Prophet Elias Monastery, Perivolos Beach for swimming and lunch, and the Canava winery, located on the rim of the caldera. Educational and fun! | |||||||
