One honeymoon date we can't miss! A day tour of Ancient Rome! An exciting journey through history and its legends, stories and anecdotes. With our guide we will begin at the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, then take a leisurely stroll through the Roman Forum and the Imperial Fori to the Capitol Hill, ending up at the Pantheon, Hadrian's temple dedicated to all the pagan gods. What a great day!

After a romantic honeymoon dinner, we'll experience Rome by night! We will stroll to the unforgettable Trevi Fountain, then on to the Roman Pantheon built in 27 BC to sample the most praised ice cream in Italy. Next, we will have a nightcap at the Piazza Navona, considered the most beautiful square in Rome with its 3 Bernini fountains. We can't wait!

What is the better way to enjoy the beauty of the Amalfi coast? By sea, of course. During our stay at the Hotel Luna Convento, we do not want to miss the chance to organize a boat trip to discover the most picturesque views of the Amalfi coast, grottoes (the Emerald grotto, for example), the fjord of Furore, the ancient watchtowers, Li Galli islands, Capri with the Faraglioni and the Blue Grotto.

Help us enjoy a day learning new dishes to try back home, learning how to make pasta or traditional Tuscan dishes such as ribollita, panzanella, wild boar sauce or making pici!

Visiting south of Florence, we will stroll along the city's political heart flanked by the Palazzo Vecchio. Next, we will visit the town hall and the Uffizi Gallery, one of Italy's leading art galleries. We'll visit the church of the Santa Croce home to frescoes by Giotto and tombs of some of Florence's greatest men: Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and Rossini and no visit would be complete without a tour of the Gallery of the Academy with the original masterpiece David by Michelangelo!

An island of romance and stunning views, the island of Capri is a top destination in Italy for honeymoons. We can reach the island easily with a scenic boat ride from Amalfi. With your help we can take the chairlift to the top of Monte Solaro in Anacapri where we will see the beautiful Sorrento Penisula and across the bay to Naples.

From shopping to sights, there is much to keep you busy in Positano. For a relaxing afternoon, we will take a small boat to the Spaggia di Lauriot, a small cove perfect for swimming. Da Adolfo, a restaurant just above the beach, should satisfy any midday cravings. At the dinner hour, we will head up to Montepertuso, a hamlet high over Positano, for fine dining at either Donna Rosa or Il Ritrovo.

We will explore the quintessential wine region of Tuscany! We will learn about the history of the distinctive and historical wine making region of Italy while our expert guides will share their vast knowledge of wine, and more important, offer us a sampling of some of their favorites. Tuscany is not only famous for its wine but also its olive oil. We will taste some of the famous Crostini Toscano as we learn why extra virgin olive oil plays such an important role in Italian Cuisine.

We will take a romantic honeymoon drive along the breath-taking Amalfi coast to the hilltop town of Ravello, with a lovely Romanesque cathedral and the famous gardens of the Villa Rufalo, then on to picture perfect Sorrento to dine outdoors with spectacular views of the Italian Riviera and of course shopping!

With your wedding gift we will visit and see the natural and artistic beauty of the small medieval villages just outside Rome. Visiting Frascati, famous worldwide for its wine and sample the local product, viewing the scenery, the small villages and the wine there is so delicious! So much to see and enjoy on our honeymoon!

We will tour through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside towards the historic university city of Pisa. Together, we'll take the panoramic drive along the Arno embankments, visit the Piazza dei Miracoli famous for the celebrated Leaning Tower, and unequalled masterpieces of Romanesque art carried out between the 11th and 12th centuries. This will be a great honeymoon day!

There's nothing quite like Rome at night. On this illuminating evening tour, we will see the sights of The Eternal City that amazed us by day and will simply astonish us by night!

We will enjoy the charm of the Chianti countryside, one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany, known all over the world not only for its famous wine, but also for its landscapes and vineyards, olive trees and cypresses surrounding churches, castles and villages hidden in the hills.

On our walking tour we'll visit St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. The Vatican is one of the most interesting and breathtakingly beautiful sites in the world, with some very interesting stories, and our personal guide has all the scoop!

The easiest way to get to Monte Solaro is by chairlift. The journey to the summit of Capri's mountain takes just 12 minutes. We will take the chairlift from Piazza Vittoria in Anacapri. This will allow us to see the most beautiful view of Italy!!

While we spend the day in Capri, we will tour one of the island's swankiest residences, the Villa San Michele where we can enjoy an early dinner at Da Tonino.

On a little beach where pirates used to build and launch boats, this laid-back trattoria has long been a favorite Positano landmark. The pirates are long gone, but their descendants now operate the free ferry to and from Positano—look for the boat with the red fish on the mast named for the restaurant—or make the steep descent from the main coastal road at Laurito. We will sit under a straw canopy on the wooden terrace to enjoy totani con patate (squid and potatoes with garlic and oil); then sip white wine with peaches until sundown.

We have heard the only way to really see Italy is to "get lost". We would love to rent a car in Florence and travel the breathtaking views. We will find hidden winery's and taste Tuscany!
