Peddling around on a bicycle. Stopping off at the Barri Gotic, Sagrada Familia, Parc de la Ciutadella, and the Olympic Village. We can't forget our swim suit (even though we are in Europe), as there's a great beach to cool off.

Many ancient culinary traditions and characteristics of Italy's distinct regional cuisines and traditional recipes are passed down from generation to generation. We will experience hands on instruction by our own professional Italian chef. It's true what they say, "Italians live to eat while the rest of the world eats to live."

We'll take a day to relax and explore the lovely cliffs, coves, and villages of the Costa Brava coast north of Barcelona. We'll spend the morning swimming and sunbathing on a lovely beach cove, and we'll stroll around the village in the afternoon, taking in the spectacular views of the coast.

Visiting south of Florence, we will stroll along the city's political heart flanked by the Palazzo Vecchio. Next, we will visit the town hall and the Uffizi Gallery, one of Italy's leading art galleries. We'll visit the church of the Santa Croce home to frescoes by Giotto and tombs of some of Florence's greatest men: Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and Rossini and no visit would be complete without a tour of the Gallery of the Academy with the original masterpiece David by Michelangelo!

A gondola ride is the quintessence of romantic Venice! We will enjoy a soothing journey along the canals and be captivated by the glamour and elegance of this true Italian honeymoon experience. We'll be taken to a spectacular water front Venetian restaurant to be wined and dined in style. Simply heaven!

We will explore the quintessential wine region of Tuscany! We will learn about the history of the distinctive and historical wine making region of Italy while our expert guides will share their vast knowledge of wine, and more important, offer us a sampling of some of their favorites. Tuscany is not only famous for its wine but also its olive oil. We will taste some of the famous Crostini Toscano as we learn why extra virgin olive oil plays such an important role in Italian Cuisine.

While honeymooning in beautiful Barcelona we’ll need some souvenirs to cherish in our many years to come! At Las Ramblas we’ll shop for Spanish luxury goods and browse around Barcelona’s renowned shopping districts.

Off to hear the wonderful voices of Italian opera singers! We hope to take in the sights and sounds of a traditional opera house while in Florence or Venice.

We'll taste the best of Catalonia’s culture and gourmet cuisine on a Barcelona tapas tour through the city on foot. We'll explore some of the city’s most famous tapas bars around La Rambla, La Boqueria food market and the Gothic Quarter.

On our honeymoon, we’ll want to rest our tired feet from all the sight-seeing and enjoy a Vivaldi concert in Venice! The performers in wigs and tights will put on a more whimsical show while musicians in black and white suits give a higher-caliber performance. We can’t wait!

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

The catch of the day awaits us! As seafood lovers it will be hard to choose from the different types of seafood restaurants and the variety of fresh fish, all complemented by delectable side dishes, fresh vegetables, and an incredible selection of wines. A delicious treat!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

We would love to shop around for our favorite piece of art as a cherished keepsake from our once in a lifetime trip. This gift will adorn our home for many years to come!

To get from place to place to place, we'll have to hop on trains, buses, and in cabs!. While we're traveling in each city, we'll get a chance to check out the local scenery and enjoy the daily commute with locals - it'll be just like Chicago and New York!

Any help to get to and from our destination is a wonderful gift. We will be thanking you long after take off.

We'll need a spa day just to ourselves! We will sit back, relax and indulge in a rejuvenating and revitalizing spa treatment or massage to help soothe our tense muscles and to help us get back in the groove.

We will experience the special indulgence of a couple's massage lying side-by-side being pampered with exotic oils that hydrate the skin, rejuvenate senses, and leave us refreshed and revitalized. We want to reserve our spa treatments early for this ultimate spa experience!

While in Venice, we'll be staying in Murano, the glass capital of Italy. Right around the corner from our hotel, we'll be able to watch master glass blowers work their magic. Help us take tours of glass factories and bring back some beautiful glass pieces.

From the excellent service at the hotel to the attentive waiters at dinner, there's going to be a long list of people to thank for helping us have the perfect time away from home.
