The 29,692-acre Arenal Volcano National Park is located within the larger 504,094-acre (204,000-ha) Arenal Conservation Area, which protects some 16 reserves between the Tilarán and Guanacaste mountain ranges. This area contains a great wealth of geologic and biological complexity, as evidenced by the active and incredible Arenal Volcano. Inside the park are trails over lava fields and through secondary forests. All surrounding the imposing Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica's most famous and most active volcano.

Located just north of Arenal National Park, Mistico Hanging Bridges serves as a natural sanctuary forest that allows thousands of people around the world admire the beauty of the forest in a convenient and secure way. A trail of 3.2 km in total allows guests to comfortably enjoy the Rain forest attractives with a total of 16 bridges. Manufactured with German technology, thebridges have an ideal design to provide a contemplative experience of the Rain forest. The strategic position and height of each of the bridges allows you to observe from a favorable perspective to light the different attractions and the thousands of species that inhabit our reservation, trees, flowers, plants, insects, mammals, reptiles, frogs and many others live in an ecosystem in perfect balance.

Ricon de la Vieja features a wealth of great activities to keep visitors busy. Hiking trails and Horseback rides are great ways to enjoy the area's natural beauty and make memorable adventures. Other activities include tubing, mountain biking, and waterfall swimming. There are numerous waterfalls in the area, the largest of which are the Oropendola Waterfall (25 meters) and the La Victoria Waterfall (35 meters), which pour into the Colorado River. The area around Rincon de La Vieja is active with geothermal activity. In fact, it is the most active area in the volcanic Guanacaste Mountain Range. The geothermal activity produces heat for a mixture of warm springs and bubbling mud pools. The mud is believed to be very therapeutic, and mud baths are a great way to relieve sore bodies following a long day of exploration.

This tour has three different activities that will provide us a good choice filled with emotions and sensations that satisfy the most adventurous tourists. The first activity we will do at Sky River Drift are 3 carbon fiber cables. After these we will arrive at a huge tree platform over 130ft (40m.) high where we will descend to a natural river pond. This is an innovative controlled descent device operated hands free, it allows the adventurous to jump from the platform performing a speed controlled vertical descent to the ground hands free to experience a sense of fun and exciting freedom. Once down, the River Drift adventure will start, traveling on an exciting tour through the Piedras Negras River. Sky River Drift is a fast water path with controlled rapids travelled on individual rafts. The thrill of being carried by the current towards the rapids and the force of inertia that dominates the raft is a mixture in which any adventurer will be satisfied in their pursuit of adrenaline and fun.

Sky Trek is a thrilling zip line circuit that’s located in La Fortuna. Our tour will start riding an open-air gondola from the ground to the heights where we’ll be dropped off at an observation area for fantastic views. From this area, we will start riding down on a zip line track stretching across canyons and in between treetops, the exhilarating adventure of zip lining down the mountainside begins; ultimately returning us to the starting point at the main building. This is the most thrilling zip line in the country.

Warm water, light currents, and no rocks are just a few of the reasons Tamarindo is ranked in the Top 10 for best places to learn how to surf in the world. We will spend two hours learning the basics from highly-qualified instructors before setting out on our own to hang-ten.
