We will join in on one of the best celebrations in Hawaii at the beautiful Royal Kona Resort for a traditional Hawaiian luau. Between the fading sun and the breeze off the Kona coast, we’ll dance and dine the night away. When the sun fades, the tropical breeze will sway the trees to the beat of the drums, to create an easy rhythm to start our luau the right way. With a breathtaking backdrop of glittering waters of the Kona Coast, our oceanfront setting encompasses Polynesian culture.

We'll dive beneath the waves of the Big Island for an unforgettable journey aboard an Atlantis submarine. We will explore 25 acres of natural coral reef and its marine inhabitants as we head more than 100 feet (30.5 m) underwater!

We will take our need for speed to new heights on this thrilling zipline and Akaka Falls adventure. We will enjoy a relaxing drive through Saddle Road with views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on our way to the most beautiful falls on Hawaii. Covering nearly two miles of gorgeous tropical river gorges, this 8-line zip course promises views of different waterfalls as we soar over 160 feet above them. Certified staff will guide us over one of the longest lines on Hawaii Island at more than 2,400 feet in length. We will ride the only all side-by-side dual track zipline on Hawaii. Afterwards we will enjoy a picnic deli style lunch. Next, we will take a scenic drive along the Hamakua Coast to Akaka Falls. We will explore Akaka Falls before returning to Kona.

On this helicopter adventure we will view lava flows and black sand beaches. We will experience all the awesome spectacle of Madame Pele's lava and volcanic badlands, and then explore the lush rainforests of the Hamakua Coast. The towering sea cliffs open into the dramatically deep and meandering valleys of the Kohala Mountains. Beautiful waterfalls cascade thousands of feet into the rainforest below and remnants of ancient Hawaiian settlements are still visible. This Circle of Fire plus Waterfalls tour is approximately 50 minutes long! We will tour the most geologically active environment on earth, with emphasis on the most current area of volcanic activity. We will view lava flows and black sand beaches from the comfort and safety of a million dollar aircraft.

We will begin the tour with a wonderful drive of contrast and change from the dry-side resort area to the lush green country of Kohala. Along the way we'll journey up the North Kona and Kohala coastlines over lava flows from Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and the Kohala Mountains. We'll pass through the quaint plantation towns of Hawi and Kapaau, site of the life-size statue of King Kamehameha. At the end of the road we will pass through a locked gate onto private property, and the real fun begins with a bumpy but short off-road drive in our 6WD Pinzgauer on an old cane road.

We will journey from sea level to the cosmos! On this adventure we will witness a sunset from Hawaii's most sacred location, Mauna Kea, amid its largest collection of telescopes on earth. We will enjoy a picnic dinner that precedes a sunset view of Haleakala on Maui and Mauna Loa. After the sunset, we’ll descend to the Visitor's Information Station for hot beverages and chocolate macadamia nut cookies. A telescope waits for star gazing, and an interpretive guide offers a personal and educational look at the observable universe.

We'll sail into the Kohala Coast sunset, the most beautiful in the islands. While relaxing aboard a 65-foot luxury catamaran, the most elegant on the island we'll look for the legendary green flash or dolphins and whales as they playfully escort our vessel. A delicious menu will be prepared by an award-winning, local chef. We’ll enjoy a libation or iced champagne from the bar as we watch the sun disappear into the tropical sea.

Soon enough, we will be taking a horseback riding adventure on the Big Island! Along the way, we will witness spectacular panoramic views of the mountains and coastline, cinder cones, ancient Hawaiian ruins and lush pastures.
