No honeymoon would be complete, without a meeting with the Mona Lisa at the medieval fortress palace of the kings of France. The Louvre Palace bears witness to more than 800 years of history and priceless art work.

We can't go to Paris without seeing this masterpiece of gothic architecture, the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, imagined by Bishop Maurice de Sully built between the 12th and the 14th centuries (1163-1345).

Then we will indulge in a delicious three-course romantic dinner and cherish the spectacular "Louis XIV, l'Artiste Roi" shows around Neptune's basin.

With so many ice cream parlors in town, we'll try everything from hot fudge sundaes to soft serve ice cream and thick milkshakes. Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!

We will drive through rural Normandy to France's northern coast, where coastal mists shroud the Mont Saint Michel in mysticism and legend. Exploring the islet's intricate network of streets, discovering why this ancient site is called the "Marvel of the Occident" and shop at the best "le boutique" shops. Oh la la!

It won't be like driving at home. Exploring on our honeymoon will be an adventure.
