Being the nerds that we are, we could not pass up the chance to tour the real live Hobiton set in Hamilton New Zealand. The tour starts with a drive through a picturesque 1,250 acre sheep farm with spectacular views across to the Kaimai Ranges. One of our absolute must do's is visit Milford Sound in Southern New Zealand. Buy us a cruise exploring the breathe taking landscape covered in mountains and waterfalls. There is a good chance on these cruises that we could run into dolphins, seals or the local Fiordland crested penguins. http://www.southerndiscoveries.co.nz

While in Milford Sound we would like to explore vast underwater world at New Zealand's only floating observatory. Near Aukland New Zealand, AHauraki Gulf Maritime Park is home to nearly 50 islands and miles of shallow water corral reefs. Help us swim with the fishies and contribute to our snorkeling trip! We have split the cost four ways to provide for more affordable options.

On the Waitomo cave tours we can either raft through the dark streams of glow worms decorated caves or test our adrenaline by snaking through the small cracks and crevices on the cave's dry tours. What is a vacation without a visit to the zoo (yes this is Michelle writing)? Depending on our final path we hope to either hit up the Aukland zoo or the Orana Wildlife Park -New Zealand's only open range zoo. Whether feeding the giraffes or seeing a wild kiwi bird, I'm sure this will be one of our favorite adventures..or Michelle's it least:)

Help us have a home away from home on our trip. Upgrade us to a Bed and Breakfast and we can have the luxury of our own room but the company of fellow travelers over a yummy home cooked breakfast!

Help us upgrade one of our hostel stays to a farm stay. Similar to a bed and breakfast a farm stay throws in a few extra hand-on activities. Home cooked meals and a warm local host are available in exchange for a little extra help around the farm. What a great way for us to meet the locals and learn about the area.

We will need a place to rest our weary traveler's body after a long day of exploring. Buy us a night in a New Zealand hostel where we hope to meet other fellow travelers like us and get advice on places to go and people to see. Plus hostels give us more bang for our buck so we can hopefully spend more time on our dream trip!!

Considering it is our Honeymoon we should probably indulge a bit! Help us upgrade a few of our hostel stays to hotel where we can enjoy a private room together, maybe do some laundry and fully unwind together on our trip!

Gotta splurge every once and a while! Treat us to nice dinner out on the town at one of New Zealand's fine restaurants. Have any suggestions? We would love to hear them:)

What could be better then a picnic and Rivendell itself? Help feed our hungry traveler's bellies during a long day of hiking and exploring! We will need lunch and snack everyday we our out on our hiking trails exploring areas such as Abel Tasman National Park, Kaitoke National Park and Tongoriro National Park.

Getting to New Zealand will be an adventure in it self. During out trip over there we will cross 6 time zones over a full day. Although not exactly as exciting as a snorkeling trip, our airline tickets will be pretty essential for our dream vacation to come true. Help get us over to our final destination and contribute to our airline tickets!

We will need to get from point A to B in New Zealand. Help us buy a day of rental car use. Promise we will be safe driving on the left side of the road!
