This thrilling four-wheel-drive journey will take us where breathtaking landscapes and traditional culture are just waiting to be discovered! We will experience the spectacular scenery, lives of rural Costa Ricans that have barely changed over the years, secluded soft silver-sand beaches, exotic flora and fauna and many quaint little villages. Sounds like honeymoon fun!

The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, we will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. We will visit the hot springs of Arenal, where we will relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. This is absolutely an evening we will not want to miss.

We will start off with a crisp start in the morning, stopping for breakfast in the city of Cervantes where we will admire the antiques collected for many years. The real tour starts at Angostura, hydroelectric plant biking through sugar and coffee plantations, where the route is flat with mountain segments of dense jungle and up hill slopes. Continuing to La Posa where we will have the opportunity to dive in its crystal clear waters and enjoy its panoramic views, while enjoying a lovely lunch and the natural beauty surrounding us!

We will admire nature in all its glory as we float down the Corobici River on a rubber raft. Exotic sights of flora and fauna are common to this area: ospreys, herons, egrets and a variety of iguanas and monkeys. This river float will be an unforgettable adventure we won't forget.

Why not try our luck at reeling in the big one? We'll relax and breathe in the cool crisp ocean breezes, basking in the warm sun admiring the Central Pacific's majesty stretching out miles and miles of pure beauty. We will have fun in the sun with high hopes of catching mahi mahi, or billfish. An event we will remember in our loving years to come!

On our way to our destination, we will travel through tropical forests near Rincon de la Vieja National Park, the Guanacaste Mountain Range, passing by small villages and cattle ranches. Arriving at the natural hot springs, we will get to try the therapeutic properties of the ever-so-famous mineral mud along with a nice soak in the warm waters marveling at the lush tropical scenery. If we are feeling adventurous we can be swinging through the trees like Tarzan and Jane to experience a world only the bird's eye sees!

We will finally experience the true Tarzan and Jane way of life as we soar through the trees of Tu Ru Bari Tropical Park. On this exhilarating tour, we will get a bird's eye view of the park's magnificent scenery and exotic flora and fauna and have the opportunity to taste the local flavors of the Costa Rican cuisine in one of the two restaurants Tu Ru Bari offers! We can't wait to take a leisurely cruise down Arenal Lake with the amazing view of Arenal Volcano, the sunset as our beautiful backdrop adding to our romantic ambience and the magnificent wildlife, such as flycatchers, kingfishers, anninga, monkeys, coatis and sloth. The perfect way to explore the natural beauty of Costa Rica on our honeymoon!

On this awesome underground adventure, our knowledgeable guide will take us through narrow passages, labyrinths and chambers where we'll see a famous rock formation called, "La Papaya" along with other amazing stalactites and stalagmites. This tour is only for those who like to get wet, muddy and messy just as we do!

On this tour, we will stop at various markets to find unique souvenirs on the way to the "White City," all built out of white adobe in the last century.
